The ANZZI Castle 49" x 72" H Pivot Semi-Frameless Shower Door Tempered Glass comes in 2 versions: Polished Chrome or Brushed Nickel finish. Pick your options above to open the exact model, with its own price and details. The details below are for the Polished Chrome version.
The ANZZI SD-AZ056-01CH is the 49" x 72" Castle Series semi-frameless pivot shower door in Polished Chrome. The glass turns on top and bottom pivots for a wide, easy entry, while a slim frame steadies it at the walls. Polished chrome is the bright mirror finish that matches most standard faucets and shower trims, so the door blends into an existing bathroom without a second metal finish.
Castle is the door to choose when a shower should open wide rather than slide. The door glass swings on pivot assemblies, and ANZZI fits German engineered high grade hinges for an effortless door opening experience, so the full door width becomes your way in. Anti water seals cover the full length of each panel to keep water in the shower and off the bathroom floor, and a magnetic strike seal meets the door when it closes.
The panel is crystal clear tempered Deco-Glass with pre-drilled hardware holes, crafted from ANSI certified tempered glass for safety and reliability. ANZZI's dual sided Tsunami Guard coating helps prevent water stains, soap scum and limescale from building up, so a quick wipe keeps the view clear. The semi-frameless design gives the glass sturdy support at the walls while the door edge stays open and modern.
The hardware is Rhino Alloy certified, which ANZZI rates scratch resistant against minor scratches and chips. The opening can be installed on either the left or the right side, and the package carries two wall profiles, two pivot assemblies, two pivot bars, rubber strips, a sweep seal, a hinge-side seal and a magnetic strike seal along with the glass and the fixings.
The SD-AZ056-01CH measures 49" wide and 72" tall. Check the space in front of the shower before you order: a hinged door needs room to swing open into the bathroom, clear of the vanity, the toilet and any towel bars.
Castle is offered here in 2 finishes (brushed nickel and polished chrome), so you can match the glass to your space and your fixtures; the SD-AZ056-01CH is the 49" x 72" door in Polished Chrome.
The door is sold on its own, so it needs a finished shower base, tub or tiled threshold and finished, plumb walls to mount against. Day to day the glass takes very little work: squeegee or wipe it after the last shower of the day so drops do not dry into spots, and wash it with soap and hot water on a soft cloth when it needs more. Skipping abrasive pads and harsh cleaners protects both the glass coating and the polished chrome finish.
Castle suits a walk-in shower or a tiled stall about 49" wide where a door has room to swing open into the bathroom: a primary suite, a main bathroom remodel or a guest bath that should feel open. ANZZI highly recommends professional installation.
Features
Pivot Door Opens Wide
The glass turns on two pivot assemblies with German engineered high grade hinges, so the door swings open across its full width for an easy step in and out.
Full-Length Water Seals
Anti water seals cover the full length of each panel, and a magnetic strike seal closes against the door, keeping water in the shower and off the bathroom floor.
Tsunami Guard Deco-Glass
Crystal clear tempered Deco-Glass carries a dual sided Tsunami Guard coating that helps prevent water stains, soap scum and limescale build-up. The glass stays clear with less scrubbing.
Semi-Frameless Support
Slim profiles hold the glass at the walls for sturdy support while the door edge stays frameless, a middle ground between a full frame and an all-glass door.
Scratch-Resistant Hardware
The Rhino Alloy certified hardware is rated by ANZZI to protect against minor scratches and chips, so the finish keeps its look through daily use and cleaning.
Reversible Opening
The opening can be installed on either the left or the right side, so the door can swing away from the toilet or vanity whichever way your bathroom is laid out.
Polished Chrome Finish
The hardware is finished in polished chrome, the bright mirror finish that matches most standard faucets and shower trims.
49" x 72" Size
At 49" wide and 72" tall, the door is sized for a 49" opening, so measure the finished opening before ordering.

Installation & Care
Installation
Fits a finished opening 49" wide and 72" tall, installed on a finished threshold between finished walls that are plumb and at right angles. The hardware is reversible for a left or right opening. Allow 24 hours for the silicone to set before the first shower. ANZZI recommends professional installation. ANZZI's specification sheet is in Resources.
Care
ANZZI's care guide says to clean with regular soap and hot water on a non-abrasive cloth or sponge, to test any stronger cleaner on an inconspicuous area first, to rinse every surface completely right after cleaning, and never to let a cleaner soak. Because the Tsunami Guard coating makes water bead and run off, a squeegee or soft-cloth wipe after each shower clears the drops before they dry into spots; skip scouring cleaners, bristle brushes and abrasive sponges, which can scratch the glass and its coating. Wipe the metal hardware dry with a soft cloth and keep ammonia, bleach and acid cleaners off the finish.
