The ANZZI FT-AZ516BK-BK is the 67" x 32" oval stone resin flat-bottom freestanding bathtub in black, with a center drain and an ergonomic headrest. It is ANZZI's modern oval soaker in stone resin, a material ANZZI chose because it is durable and resists stains, with a 16.88" deep soaking basin that allows full-body immersion. In matte black it is a striking, sculptural piece against light tile or stone.
A Soft Oval With a Headrest
ANZZI draws this tub with organic, flowing lines, a modern oval silhouette that gives a contemporary bathroom a soft yet sophisticated focal point. Inside, an ergonomic headrest supports the neck and shoulders, which is what lets you lie back for a longer soak instead of propping your head on a hard rim. The manual lists a pillow among the accessories in the box.
The 16.88" soaking depth lets the water cover the body for full immersion, and the flat bottom provides firm support and a secure footing when you step in and out. ANZZI also notes its regular tub style: it complements standard fixtures and bath accessories, so it works with the faucet and hardware you already like.
Stone Resin That Resists Stains
Stone resin gives the tub a solid, mineral feel and a smooth finish. ANZZI rates it durable and resistant to wear, stains and daily use, and says the smooth surface simplifies maintenance and preserves its shine, so regular soap and hot water keep it looking new. ANZZI singles out the matte black finish as durable, resisting wear, stains and daily use.
Center Drain, Overflow and Placement
A center drain is placed for efficient drainage and easy plumbing, and a built-in overflow prevents accidental overfilling. Because it is freestanding, ANZZI says it can be installed anywhere in the bathroom as a centerpiece; plan the floor drain and the filler supply first, since both are roughed in before the tub is placed.
The tub is sold without a faucet, so the filler is your choice. A floor-mounted freestanding filler beside the tub suits an oval placed in the open, and its finish can follow the room's hardware: matte black for a tonal look, or polished chrome or brushed gold for contrast. ANZZI's manual asks for a licensed contractor to install it.
For a modern bathroom that wants a soft oval and a supported, deep soak, the ANZZI FT-AZ516BK-BK 67" stone resin freestanding tub in black pairs a 16.88" basin, an ergonomic headrest and a stain-resistant finish.

Installation & Care
Installation
Freestanding, center drain. Nominal 67" x 32". ANZZI's manual says the tub must be installed by a licensed or certified contractor, with a licensed plumber, and that any delivery damage must be reported within 5 business days. Test the tub with the flexible drain before it is set for good, fit the drain hardware, then move the tub into position on a floor that can carry it full. Level it with the adjustable feet so every foot touches the floor, leaving a gap of no more than 3/16" between the tub base and the floor so the feet, not the tub wall, carry the weight of tub, water and bather. Seal the base with silicone and allow 24 hours before use.
Care
Wipe the stone resin with regular soap and hot water on a non-abrasive cloth or sponge to keep its smooth finish free of soap film. If a stronger cleaner is needed, test it on an inconspicuous spot first, then rinse the tub completely with water immediately after applying it and dry any overspray on the floor; never let a cleaner sit and soak on the surface. Scouring pads and abrasive powders can scratch the finish.
