The ANZZI Romance 34" x 72" H Hinged Frameless Shower Door with Tsunami Guard Tempered Glass comes in 3 versions: Matte Black, Brushed Nickel or Brushed Gold finish. Pick your options above to open the exact model, with its own price and details. The details below are for the Matte Black version.
The ANZZI SD-AZ14-01MB is the 34" x 72" Romance Series hinged frameless shower door in Matte Black. A 15.9" pivot door beside a 17.6" fixed panel, it gives a 34" shower stall a frameless glass front that swings open on an easy glide pivot. Matte black draws a crisp dark outline around the glass and pairs naturally with black faucets, shower systems and grout lines in a modern or industrial bathroom.
Romance brings frameless minimalism to a compact shower. The 34" front is split into a 17.6" fixed panel and a 15.9" door, and the door turns on an easy glide door pivot that ANZZI makes resistance-free for smooth, effortless opening and closing. With no track at the bottom, the threshold stays clean and simple to wipe.
The panels are ANSI-certified tempered glass, strong, durable and safe, and ANZZI's Tsunami Guard shielding repels water to prevent cloudy build-up. Clear frameless glass keeps a small shower from feeling boxed in and lets the light and the tile show through.
The aluminum hardware is Rhino Alloy certified, and ANZZI states its flawless finish keeps its good looks year after year. The versatile reversible design is engineered for both right and left installation, and the package includes the screws, wall anchors, water sealing strip and pivot seat lube needed to fit it. ANZZI's manual notes the door is heavy and needs two people.
The SD-AZ14-01MB measures 34" wide and 72" tall, with a 15.9" door and a 17.6" fixed panel. Check the space in front of the shower before you order: a hinged door needs room to swing open into the bathroom, clear of the vanity, the toilet and any towel bars.
Romance is offered here in 2 sizes (34" x 72" and 59" to 60" wide) and 4 finishes (brushed gold, brushed nickel, polished chrome and matte black), so you can match the glass to your space and your fixtures; the SD-AZ14-01MB is the 34" x 72" door in Matte Black.
The door is sold on its own, so it needs a finished shower base, tub or tiled threshold and finished, plumb walls to mount against. Day to day the glass takes very little work: squeegee or wipe it after the last shower of the day so drops do not dry into spots, and wash it with soap and hot water on a soft cloth when it needs more. Skipping abrasive pads and harsh cleaners protects both the glass coating and the matte black finish.
This Romance door suits a compact shower stall or a small walk-in shower in a guest bath, a condo or an en suite where a 34" opening is all the room allows.

Installation & Care
Installation
Fits a finished opening 34" wide and 72" tall, installed on a finished threshold between finished walls that are plumb and at right angles. The hardware is reversible for a left or right opening. ANZZI notes the glass is heavy and the install needs two people. ANZZI's specification sheet is in Resources.
Care
ANZZI's care guide says to clean with regular soap and hot water on a non-abrasive cloth or sponge, to test any stronger cleaner on an inconspicuous area first, to rinse every surface completely right after cleaning, and never to let a cleaner soak. Because the Tsunami Guard coating makes water bead and run off, a squeegee or soft-cloth wipe after each shower clears the drops before they dry into spots; skip scouring cleaners, bristle brushes and abrasive sponges, which can scratch the glass and its coating. Wipe the metal hardware dry with a soft cloth and keep ammonia, bleach and acid cleaners off the finish.
