The ANZZI SB-AZ303L is the 60" x 32" Alexander Series ANR alcove shower base with a left drain. It gives a three-wall alcove a solid, low-threshold floor that does not flex underfoot, molded from ANZZI's ANR stone composite rather than thin acrylic.
Alexander bases are compression molded from ANR, ANZZI's blend of resin, fiberglass and stone filler, which ANZZI rates stronger and lighter than both artificial stone and acrylic. ANZZI builds them with twice the material thickness, so no extra layers of reinforcement are needed, and the solid surface construction is made not to crack, discolor or delaminate over years of use.
Underfoot, the difference is rigidity. ANZZI rates the ANR at 3X compressive strength, so it holds high levels of weight without sagging, and its tensile strength means it won't flex beneath your feet the way a thin pan can. A solid surface grid on the underside gives strong support and structural integrity, and the moisture-resistant construction protects against odor, mold and mildew.
The low threshold is designed to make stepping in and out effortless, a real help for children, older family members and anyone with stiff knees, and a stainless steel drain cover resists corrosion so it keeps looking good for a long lifetime of use.
Overall the base measures 60" W x 32" D x 4" H. The drain sits toward the left end, so the drain line under the floor must match that position. It is an alcove base: measure the framed opening stud to stud on all three walls before ordering, so the base sits snugly against the walls.
Alexander is offered here in 5 sizes (36" x 36", 48" x 32", 60" x 30", 60" x 32" and 60" x 36") and center, left and right drain positions, so you can match the base to your space and your fixtures; the SB-AZ303L is the 60" x 32" with the left drain.
Plan the rest of the shower around the base: you will need a drain assembly, sold separately, mortar and sealant for the install, and a sliding or hinged glass door, or an ANZZI wall surround to finish the space. Day to day the floor needs little more than a rinse and a wipe with a soft cloth after showering, and a wash with mild soap now and then keeps the surface bright; skip abrasive pads and scrapers, which dull the finish.

Installation & Care
Installation
Frame the alcove so the walls are plumb and square and the subfloor is flat and solid, and confirm the drain position before you begin. The drain assembly is not included, so choose a drain body to suit your waste line. Set the base fully supported and level in two directions before the door or wall panels go on, and let any mortar or sealant set before the first shower. ANZZI highly recommends professional installation. ANZZI's installation manual and specification sheet are in Resources.
Care
Wipe the base down after showering with a soft cloth, and use mild, non-abrasive cleaners on the ANR surface. ANZZI's care guide says to clean with regular soap and hot water on a non-abrasive cloth or sponge, to test any stronger cleaner on an inconspicuous area first, to rinse every surface completely right after cleaning, and never to let a cleaner soak.

Shipping, Returns & Warranty
ANZZI ships this item from the SW Corp warehouse by UPS, FedEx or USPS, usually within 1 to 2 business days of your order. Shipping is free within the lower 48 states on orders of $101 or more (orders under $101 ship for a flat $15); for Alaska or Hawaii, contact us before you order. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it ships.
Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
Unused ANZZI products in their original packaging can be returned within 21 days of delivery. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. You pay the return shipping, which for a freight item means the freight cost, and a 20% restocking fee is deducted along with payment processing fees. Installed, used or damaged products and special-order items can't be returned.
ANZZI warrants this product to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for its lifetime, for residential use, and replaces a defective product or part free of charge. Register it at anzzi.com/register within 90 days of delivery to activate the warranty, and report any surface damage within 5 days of delivery, before installation. Shipping, handling and labor costs, commercial use, improper installation or maintenance, misuse, hard-water or mineral deposits and corrosive cleaners are not covered.
Warranty claims. Call ANZZI at 1-844-442-6994 (1-844-44-ANZZI) with your proof of purchase to submit a claim and get a return authorization (RMA). Register the product at anzzi.com/register within 90 days of delivery, or the warranty is not active. Contact us with your order number if you would like help with the claim.
