The ANZZI SD-AZ11-01MB is the 48" x 58" Herald Series frameless hinged tub door in Matte Black. Two 24" panels of clear glass, one fixed and one hinged, enclose the shower end of a bathtub across 48" of its length. Matte black draws a crisp dark outline around the glass and pairs naturally with black faucets, shower systems and grout lines in a modern or industrial bathroom.
Herald splits its 48" width into a 24" fixed panel and a 24" door. The fixed glass holds the line against shower spray, and the door swings open on Rhino Alloy certified stainless steel high forged hinges, so you get a wide glass screen while you shower and an opening that swings clear for baths and cleaning. A Rhino Alloy certified stainless steel towel bar is mounted on the glass.
Both panels are ANSI certified clear tempered Deco-Glass with TSUNAMI GUARD shielding, which ANZZI says repels water and moisture on both sides for pristine, crystal clear glass. The frameless swinging design keeps the tub looking open, with no metal surround around the glass.
The hinges, handle hardware and towel bar are stainless steel, and the clever symmetrical design allows reversible left or right installation to suit the shower end of your tub. ANZZI's installation manual says the door must be mounted to a stud and asks for at least 1" of flat, level threshold or tub deck space.
The SD-AZ11-01MB measures 48" wide and 58" tall, with a 24" door and a 24" fixed panel. Check the space in front of the shower before you order: a hinged door needs room to swing open into the bathroom, clear of the vanity, the toilet and any towel bars.

The door is sold on its own, so it needs your existing tub and finished, plumb walls to mount against. Day to day the glass takes very little work: squeegee or wipe it after the last shower of the day so drops do not dry into spots, and wash it with soap and hot water on a soft cloth when it needs more. Skipping abrasive pads and harsh cleaners protects both the glass coating and the matte black finish.
Herald suits a family bathroom tub that is used for both baths and showers, where a full sliding enclosure would get in the way at bath time, in polished chrome, brushed nickel or matte black.

Installation & Care
Installation
Fits a finished opening 48" wide and 58" tall, installed on a finished threshold or tub deck between finished walls that are plumb and at right angles. ANZZI's manual calls for at least 1" of flat, level tub deck. The hinge side must be mounted to a stud, per ANZZI's manual. The hardware is reversible for a left or right opening. ANZZI notes the glass is heavy and the install needs two people. ANZZI's installation manual and specification sheet are in Resources.
Care
ANZZI's care guide says to clean with regular soap and hot water on a non-abrasive cloth or sponge, to test any stronger cleaner on an inconspicuous area first, to rinse every surface completely right after cleaning, and never to let a cleaner soak. Because the Tsunami Guard coating makes water bead and run off, a squeegee or soft-cloth wipe after each shower clears the drops before they dry into spots; skip scouring cleaners, bristle brushes and abrasive sponges, which can scratch the glass and its coating. Wipe the metal hardware dry with a soft cloth and keep ammonia, bleach and acid cleaners off the finish.

Shipping, Returns & Warranty
ANZZI ships this item from the SW Corp warehouse by UPS, FedEx or USPS, usually within 1 to 2 business days of your order. Shipping is free within the lower 48 states on orders of $101 or more (orders under $101 ship for a flat $15); for Alaska or Hawaii, contact us before you order. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it ships.
Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
Unused ANZZI products in their original packaging can be returned within 21 days of delivery. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. You pay the return shipping, which for a freight item means the freight cost, and a 20% restocking fee is deducted along with payment processing fees. Installed, used or damaged products and special-order items can't be returned.
ANZZI warrants this product to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for its lifetime, for residential use, and replaces a defective product or part free of charge. Register it at anzzi.com/register within 90 days of delivery to activate the warranty, and report any surface damage within 5 days of delivery, before installation. Shipping, handling and labor costs, commercial use, improper installation or maintenance, misuse, hard-water or mineral deposits and corrosive cleaners are not covered.
Warranty claims. Call ANZZI at 1-844-442-6994 (1-844-44-ANZZI) with your proof of purchase to submit a claim and get a return authorization (RMA).
