The ANZZI SD-AZ21-01BN is the 44" to 48" x 76" Ward Series frameless sliding shower door in Brushed Nickel. A double-sided slider with an ultra-wide entrance, it closes gently on a soft-closing mechanism and uses thick 3/8" (10 mm) glass. Brushed nickel is a soft satin silver that sits easily beside chrome, nickel or stainless fixtures and keeps the hardware low-key in a classic or transitional bathroom.
Ward's door glides smoothly on both sides, so it opens from either direction for easy access and a graceful entry, and ANZZI describes the entrance as ultra-wide. A soft closure function brings the door to rest quietly and safely, and heavy-duty rollers with a reinforced frame keep the operation smooth while holding the door firmly in place.
The glass is thick, clear 3/8" (10 mm) tempered glass for strength and safety, and its water-repellent Tsunami Guard coating protects against water stains, lime scale and soap scum. The glass surface is made for simple maintenance, so soap scum and water spots wipe away easily.
The high-quality stainless steel frame resists rust, wear and daily moisture exposure, and the elegant finish gives the shower a refined, modern look. The panel is designed for left or right wall installation, and the door ships with all mounting hardware and instructions. ANZZI's manual asks for a stud behind the support bar and at least 2.7" of flat, level threshold.
Measure the finished opening at the top and the bottom before you order: the SD-AZ21-01BN fits openings from 44" to 48" wide and stands 76" tall. Because the door slides along the opening, it needs no clearance in front of the shower, which makes it the practical choice beside a vanity, toilet or narrow walkway.
Ward is offered here in 2 sizes (44" to 48" wide and 56" to 60" wide) and 4 finishes (brushed gold, brushed nickel, polished chrome and matte black), so you can match the glass to your space and your fixtures; the SD-AZ21-01BN is the 44" to 48" door in Brushed Nickel.
The door is sold on its own, so it needs a finished shower base, tub or tiled threshold and finished, plumb walls to mount against. Day to day the glass takes very little work: squeegee or wipe it after the last shower of the day so drops do not dry into spots, and wash it with soap and hot water on a soft cloth when it needs more. Skipping abrasive pads and harsh cleaners protects both the glass coating and the brushed nickel finish.
Ward suits a primary bath or a wide alcove where an easy, generous entry matters, including households helping an older parent in and out of the shower, in brushed gold, brushed nickel, polished chrome or matte black.

Installation & Care
Installation
Fits a finished opening from 44" to 48" wide and 76" tall, installed on a finished threshold between finished walls that are plumb and at right angles. ANZZI's manual calls for at least 2.7" of flat, level threshold or tub deck. Locate a wall stud behind the support bar, and keep the doors closed for 24 hours after setting the guide block, as ANZZI's manual directs. The hardware is reversible for a left or right opening. ANZZI notes the glass is heavy and the install needs two people. ANZZI's installation manual, specification sheet and care guide are in Resources.
Care
ANZZI's care guide says to clean with regular soap and hot water on a non-abrasive cloth or sponge, to test any stronger cleaner on an inconspicuous area first, to rinse every surface completely right after cleaning, and never to let a cleaner soak. Because the Tsunami Guard coating makes water bead and run off, a squeegee or soft-cloth wipe after each shower clears the drops before they dry into spots; skip scouring cleaners, bristle brushes and abrasive sponges, which can scratch the glass and its coating. Wipe the metal hardware dry with a soft cloth and keep ammonia, bleach and acid cleaners off the finish.
