The 400100-36R-GA is a Bellaterra Home 36" single sink bathroom vanity cabinet from the Plantation collection, in a Glacier Ash finish with Plantation style Wrought Iron Black finish hardware, sold as the cabinet only. It suits a bathroom where you want real wood furniture and storage that works around the plumbing, and Bellaterra designs Plantation to sit as easily in a cottage or cabin as in a larger home. Because the top is not included, you can choose the countertop and sink you want.
Storage is split for daily use. Bellaterra gives it three drawers with English dovetail construction on full extension soft close glides to hold the small things such as toothbrushes, razors and makeup, while two doors on 110 degree wrap around hinges open to the sink cabinet, where Bellaterra fits an interior adjustable shelf and leaves a big opening for the plumbing.
Oak, Plywood and Ash Veneer
The cabinet is built from solid oak and plywood, topped with an ash veneer that gives the Glacier Ash finish its visible grain and texture, and Bellaterra uses no MDF or particle board. Full corner blocks on all corners keep the frame square and add support for the countertop that will sit on it. Bellaterra hand applies multiple layers of eco friendly stain and top coat to protect the wood against peeling, cracking and fading, and the interior is finished to match the exterior, so the inside of the cabinet looks as cared for as the front.
The Plantation style Wrought Iron Black finish hardware gives the cabinet its character, a dark metal accent against the ash grain that sets Plantation apart from plainer shaker style vanities.
Choosing a Top and Planning the Space
This is a cabinet only: the countertop, sink, faucet, backsplash and mirror are sold separately. Bellaterra configures each Plantation cabinet to work with its own range of countertops or any standard sized top, so you can pick a stone top and sink that suit the room or reuse a top you already have. The cabinet measures 36" W x 21.5" D x 34.5" H and weighs 97 lb; the finished height rises by the thickness of the top you choose. The doors and the sink cabinet sit on the right with the drawer bank on the left, which suits a wall where the plumbing sits right of center.
It is a freestanding cabinet with a toe kick at the base, so you can stand close to the counter without stubbing your feet, and no assembly is required, so installation starts with setting it in place and leveling it before the top goes on. Check that the 36" width clears the door trim and the toilet, and allow room in front of the 21.5" depth for the drawers and doors to open. The measurement tolerance is +/- 1/2", and this cabinet is made in Vietnam.
Plantation cabinets come in 30" and 36" widths and in Brown Ash, Glacier Ash and Gray Ash (dark brown, white and light gray), and the series also includes complete vanities with Bellaterra stone tops. Wood ages and mellows in color with exposure to light, so the cabinet will differ slightly from the photos over time, a characteristic of a real wood cabinet rather than a defect.
For a bathroom that needs a furniture style vanity base with room around the plumbing, the Bellaterra Home 36" Plantation bathroom vanity cabinet 400100-36R-GA brings an oak and ash veneer cabinet in Glacier Ash with Wrought Iron Black hardware and the freedom to choose your own top.
Features
Three Dovetail Drawers and a Cabinet
This 36" cabinet pairs three drawers built with English dovetail construction and two doors over an adjustable shelf, for quick access drawers plus tall storage.
Soft Close Glides and Wide Hinges
The drawers run on full extension soft close glides and the doors hang on 110 degree wrap around hinges, so drawers open all the way and close quietly and the doors swing wide.
Solid Oak, Plywood and Ash Veneer
Bellaterra builds the cabinet as wood and veneer over plywood, in solid oak and plywood with an ash veneer for texture, and uses no MDF or particle board, a sturdier base for a heavy stone top.
Hand Applied Glacier Ash Finish
Multiple layers of eco friendly stain and top coat are applied by hand to protect against peeling, cracking and fading, and the interior matches the exterior.
Full Corner Blocks
Corner blocks on all corners of the frame keep the 36" cabinet stable and give extra support to the countertop you add, which matters under a stone top.
Plantation Style Wrought Iron Black Hardware
Plantation style hardware in a Wrought Iron Black finish is included, a dark metal accent against the ash grain of the Glacier Ash finish with no separate hardware purchase.
Cabinet Only, Your Choice of Top
The 36" W x 21.5" D x 34.5" H cabinet works with Bellaterra countertops or any standard sized top, so you choose the stone, sink and faucet that suit the room.
Toe Kick Base, No Assembly
A toe kick at the base lets you stand close to the counter, and no assembly is required, so the 97 lb cabinet only needs to be placed, leveled and fitted with its top.

Installation & Care
Installation
This freestanding 36" cabinet arrives with no assembly required. Set it in place and level it, then install a countertop and sink sized for a 36" single sink vanity; the top, sink, faucet, drain and P-trap are sold separately. Check the supply and drain positions against the cabinet layout before the cabinet goes against the wall.
Care
Wipe the cabinet dry with a damp, non-abrasive cloth, skip silicone-based polish cleaners because they can damage the stain finish, and keep the room at an even temperature with good humidity, since dry air is hard on wood and strong light changes its color over time.
