Bellaterra Home MCM 36" Vanity Cabinet, Model 400901-36R-WA
The 400901-36R-WA is a Bellaterra Home 36" single sink freestanding bathroom vanity cabinet from the MCM collection in a Walnut finish with brushed nickel hardware, sold as the cabinet only so you can choose the countertop and sink, with the doors on the right for a sink offset to the right. MCM is a simple mid-century style bathroom vanity series, and this 36" cabinet suits a mid size bathroom where the plumbing sits off center.
Three drawers and two doors with one shelf behind them give this cabinet room for a full set of bathroom supplies, so daily items stay sorted in the drawers while taller bottles and towels sit behind the doors. The drawers run on full extension soft close glides, so they open all the way to the back and close quietly, and the doors shut on soft close hinges.
Solid Oak, Birch Veneer and Brushed Nickel Hardware
The cabinet is constructed from solid oak wood, birch veneer and plywood, with drawers built using dovetail construction, the interlocking joint that holds a drawer box together under daily pulling. A multi layer waterproof top coat protects the Walnut cabinet against bathroom humidity, and the stainless steel hardware in brushed nickel is included, so there is no separate hardware purchase. The vanity is low maintenance with high durability.
The cabinet stands on the floor with an open toe kick at its base, so you can stand close to the counter. The cabinet comes fully assembled, so there is nothing to build before it goes into place, and a large back opening makes room for the drain and supply lines when it goes against the wall.
Choosing the Top for a 36" Cabinet
This listing is the cabinet only: the countertop, sink, faucet, backsplash and mirror are sold separately. Bellaterra configures the MCM cabinet to work with a variety of its countertops and standard sized tops, so you can pick a stone, a sink shape and a faucet layout that suit the room, or reuse a top you already have if it fits the cabinet. The doors sit on the right, which suits a top with the sink offset to the right over plumbing right of center.
Buying the cabinet on its own also suits a remodel where the top is ordered from a local fabricator, or where the plumbing calls for a particular sink position. Measure the top against the cabinet dimensions before ordering, and check the faucet and drain positions against the back opening.
Size and Fit
The cabinet measures 36" W x 21.5" D x 34.5" H and weighs 88 lb. The size tolerance is +/- 1/2". MCM cabinets come in 24", 30", 36", 48" and 60" widths, all in Walnut with brushed nickel hardware, and complete MCM vanity sets pair the cabinet with a stone top and the sinks already installed.
For a bathroom that needs a 36" single sink cabinet with closed storage and the freedom to choose the top, the Bellaterra Home MCM 400901-36R-WA brings a Walnut solid oak and birch veneer cabinet, soft close door hinges and three drawers, two doors and one shelf.
Features
36" Single Sink Cabinet
At 36" W x 21.5" D x 34.5" H, this single sink cabinet has three drawers, two doors and one shelf, with the doors on the right for a sink offset to the right, sized for a mid size bathroom where the plumbing sits off center.
Cabinet Only, Your Choice of Top
Bellaterra configures the cabinet to work with a variety of its countertops and standard sized tops, so the stone, sink shape and faucet layout are yours to choose.
Drawers, Doors and Storage Space
Three drawers, two doors and one shelf divide the cabinet, so small items stay sorted in the drawers while taller bottles and towels fit behind the doors.
Full Extension Soft Close Glides
The drawers run on full extension soft close glides and the doors close on soft close hinges, so every drawer opens all the way and the cabinet shuts quietly.
Open Toe Kick at the Base
An open toe kick at the cabinet base lets you stand close to the counter, which helps at the sink in a busy bathroom.
Solid Oak with a Waterproof Top Coat
Solid oak wood, birch veneer and plywood construction is finished in Walnut with a multi layer waterproof top coat that protects against bathroom humidity, and the drawers use dovetail construction.
Brushed Nickel Hardware Included
Stainless steel hardware in brushed nickel comes with the cabinet, so the Walnut doors and drawers are ready to use without a separate hardware purchase.
Fully Assembled with a Large Back Opening
The cabinet arrives fully assembled, and a large back opening leaves room for the supply and drain lines, which makes the plumbing hookup easier on installation day.

Installation & Care
Installation
This is a freestanding 36" vanity cabinet that arrives fully assembled. Set it in place and level it, then install a single sink countertop and sink sized for the 36" cabinet; the top, sink, faucet and drain are sold separately. Check the supply and drain positions against the large back opening before the cabinet goes against the wall. The size tolerance is +/- 1/2".
Care
Wipe the cabinet dry with a damp, non-abrasive cloth, skip silicone-based polish cleaners because they can damage the stain finish, and keep the room at an even temperature with good humidity, since dry air is hard on wood and strong light changes its color over time.
