The Bellaterra Home 430003-49D-WMRD is a 49" White Carrara marble vanity top with two white ceramic round sinks, factory pre-installed by Bellaterra. It suits a remodel or a new vanity cabinet that needs a finished top: the stone arrives pre-drilled with a single faucet hole for a single-hole faucet, and the top and sinks come as one assembled unit ready to set on the cabinet.
Genuine White Carrara Marble With a 1.2" Eased Edge
Bellaterra makes the top from genuine White Carrara marble and finishes it to a polished, high-gloss sheen. White Carrara is a blend of white and gray, the soft veined pattern that marble is known for. The slab is 1.2" (30mm) thick with an eased edge, a softened profile that keeps the front edge comfortable to lean against. Because marble is a natural material, color, pattern and shade vary from slab to slab, so the piece you receive will differ from the photos without any effect on performance.
The round sinks is semi-recessed. Each bowl drops partly into its cutout while the upper part rises above the stone, so it reads as a basin on the counter; it measures 18" x 18" x 7" and has an overflow, which gives water a way out if the drain is closed and the tap is left running.
Bellaterra lists the sinks as cUPC certified grade A ceramic, factory pre-installed to the stone top. That saves cutting, setting and sealing a sink on site, and it means the sinks, the faucet hole and the overflow already line up when the top reaches you.
The top is pre-drilled with a single faucet hole, so it takes a single-hole faucet, a one-piece faucet with the handle on the body. The faucet is not included, so you can choose the style and finish that suit the room and the cabinet hardware.
Sizing the 49" Top
The 430003-49D-WMRD measures 49" W x 22" D x 1.2" H and weighs 110 lb. Bellaterra sizes it to fit a standard 48" W x 21" D cabinet, so the stone overhangs the cabinet slightly at the sides and front. Measure the outside width and depth of your cabinet before you order and plan for two people to lift the top into place.
A backsplash is not included. Bellaterra sells matching White Carrara marble backsplashes and sidesplashes separately, so you can finish the wall behind the top and any side wall in the same marble.
Bellaterra presealed the top during production. It describes that seal as not permanent, and asks for the top to be resealed before first use and then every 3 to 6 months, depending on how much the vanity is used.
For a 49" vanity that needs a finished marble surface with the sink already in place, the Bellaterra Home 430003-49D-WMRD combines White Carrara marble, a cUPC certified ceramic sink and a pre-drilled faucet layout in one assembled top.

Installation & Care
Installation
Set the 430003-49D-WMRD on a level, dry cabinet with a helper, since the top weighs 110 lb. Check the cabinet against the top's 49" W x 22" D x 1.2" H footprint, apply a bead of silicone along the cabinet's top edges and lower the top straight down without sliding it. Fit the faucet in the pre-drilled hole, then connect the drain and supply lines; a licensed plumber can make the connections.
Care
Wipe spills off the stone top right away so they cannot stain it, and clean it with a damp, non-abrasive cloth. Bellaterra asks for the top to be resealed before first use and every 3 to 6 months after, depending on use. Keep abrasive cleaners, steel wool and harsh chemicals off the stone and the ceramic sink, since they can scratch and dull the surface.
