The Bellaterra Home CT4922L-BL is a 49" black concrete vanity top with an extra-large rectangular sink on the left side, pre-drilled with three holes for an 8" widespread faucet. It suits a modern or industrial bathroom where you want the matte, handcrafted look of concrete with the practicality of a top that is light enough to install on a standard vanity cabinet.
Bellaterra's Lightweight Concrete Mix
Bellaterra designs its concrete products around a light weight proprietary concrete mix made exclusively of all-natural materials. Bellaterra stresses that this is not a standard Portland concrete mix: it uses fewer fillers than traditional mixes, which lets Bellaterra cast smaller pieces with a smooth finish and results in strong, light weight sinks.
The surface is sealed with an industrial non-toxic grade sealer that improves protection against scratches and stains and provides long lasting waterproofness. The top is highly resistant to UV rays, extreme temperatures, stains and impact, so it is suited to everyday use in a busy home or a commercial washroom.
The extra-large rectangular sink measures 27.56" x 14" x 5", a wide basin for washing hands and face, with ample counter space around it for daily toiletries. Note that the sink has no overflow: choose a drain made for a sink without an overflow opening, and do not leave the tap running with the stopper closed.
Each piece is handcrafted, so its coloration and finish will not be identical to the pictures. This series comes in black, dark gray and slate white, and the smooth black surface wipes clean with a cloth or with soap and water.
Sizing the 49" Concrete Top
The CT4922L-BL measures 49" W x 22" D x 1" H and weighs 80 lb. Measure the outside width and depth of your cabinet before you order and plan for two people to lift the top into place. The faucet is not included, so you can choose a widespread faucet in the finish that suits the room.
Matching concrete backsplashes and sidesplashes are not included; Bellaterra sells them separately so you can finish the wall behind the top and any side wall in the same material. The top is designed for everyday use in any home or commercial application, and the black concrete works as a neutral base for a wood cabinet or a painted one.
For a 49" vanity with an industrial edge, the Bellaterra Home CT4922L-BL pairs Bellaterra's light weight concrete mix with an extra-large sink and a sealed surface that is built for daily use.

Installation & Care
Installation
Set the CT4922L-BL on a level, dry cabinet with a helper, since the top weighs 80 lb. Check the cabinet against the top's 49" W x 22" D x 1" H footprint, apply a bead of silicone along the cabinet's top edges and lower the top straight down. Fit the widespread faucet in the three pre-drilled holes and connect a drain suited to a sink without an overflow, then the supply lines.
Care
The smooth surface allows easy clean up: just wipe it down or clean it with soap and water, and dry it afterwards. Keep abrasive cleaners, steel wool and harsh chemicals off the sealed surface, since they can scratch, damage or dull it.
