What Composite Granite Is
Composite granite is an engineered blend of crushed quartz, calcium powder, stone dust and acrylic resins. The material is much lighter than solid granite but still fit for everyday demands, and its non-porous surface is highly stain and heat resistant, so cosmetics and hot styling tools are less of a worry.
The top and sink are one continuous piece in a matte dark gray finish, a seamless pairing of sink and counter space with no joint to seal or clean. Bellaterra offers the top in white, light gray and dark gray, so it can sit under a light or a dark cabinet. Each color has the same matte finish.
The off-centered sink sits to the left and leaves more counter space on the right for a soap dispenser, a tray or daily toiletries. A 4" high cap style edging runs around the top, adding sturdiness and giving the top a clean, modern line.
A Sink Shaped for Drainage
The integrated rectangular sink is oversized and 5" deep. Its bottom is beveled so water runs toward the drain instead of pooling, and a rectangular overflow with a cover gives water a way out if the stopper is closed and the tap is left running.
The top is pre-drilled with a single faucet hole, so it takes a single-hole faucet; the faucet is not included. The top requires no assembly, so once the cabinet is level the top can be set, plumbed and used. Installation
Set the GC3918-SG-TOP on a level, dry cabinet and check the fit against the top's 39.37" W x 19" D x 4" H footprint. No assembly is required: apply a bead of silicone along the cabinet's top edges, lower the top into place, fit a single-hole faucet in the pre-drilled opening and connect the drain and supply lines.
Care
Wipe spills off the stone top right away so they cannot stain it, and clean it with a damp, non-abrasive cloth. Composite granite is low maintenance; keep abrasive cleaners, steel wool and harsh chemicals off the matte surface, since they can scratch, damage or dull it.
Shipping, Returns & Warranty
Bellaterra Home ships this item from its warehouse in the Sacramento, California area by parcel carrier. Shipping is free within the lower 48 states; for Alaska or Hawaii, contact us before you order. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it ships.
Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
Unused, uninstalled Bellaterra Home products in their original packaging can be returned within 21 days of delivery. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. You pay the return shipping, which for a freight item means the freight cost, and a $25 repackaging fee applies if the item does not come back in its original packaging; items damaged on the way back because of poor packaging are not credited. Installed, altered or used products can't be returned.
Bellaterra Home LLC warrants this product to the original purchaser and first consumer owner against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the original date of purchase, and replaces it with a new unit or parts at its discretion. The warranty covers the original installation only and is void if the product is moved from it. It does not cover labor, freight, installation, removal or reinstallation costs, transportation damage, surface scratches, abusive treatment, misuse, neglect, handling damage or faulty installation. Special or living finishes such as Oil Rubbed Bronze, Dark or Old Bronze, Matte Black and Gold change over time, so on those finishes the warranty covers functionality only.
Warranty claims. Contact us with your order number, the model number, a written description and photos of the defect, and we file the claim with Bellaterra Home. Bellaterra Home replaces the product with a new unit or replacement parts at its discretion; labor and freight are not covered, so keep your proof of purchase.
