The S8518-8-GD-W is the Bellaterra Home Konya double handle widespread bathroom faucet in Gold, a solid brass faucet for a three hole sink or vanity top that gives you separate hot and cold lever handles and arrives with a matching pop-up drain with overflow. It suits a primary or family bathroom where the sink sees heavy daily use and people want quick, precise control of the water temperature.
Two Lever Handles Around a Center Spout
Bellaterra designs the Konya with two lever handles set 8" apart from handle to handle, with the spout centered between them. One handle controls the hot supply and the other the cold, so you set the flow and the temperature on their own instead of balancing a single lever. This double handle layout allows precise control over the flow pressure and the temperature, which helps when you want warm water for washing your face and only a gentle stream for brushing teeth. The spout and edges are curved, which gives the faucet a clean modern look over the basin.
Solid Brass Body and Ceramic Disc Cartridges
The faucet body is solid brass, and each handle turns a ceramic disc cartridge valve. The stainless steel and netted soft supply hoses come pre-installed on the faucet, so it is ready to connect to the shutoff valves under the sink without buying separate supply lines first.
Flow is set at 1.2 gallons per minute. Bellaterra fits its faucets with a 1.2 gpm cartridge to comply with the California Title 20 water efficiency standards, and notes that residents of other states may change the water saving cartridge to a standard 2.2 gpm cartridge by contacting Bellaterra customer service. At 1.2 gpm the faucet still fills a basin for shaving or washing, while each use draws less water than a standard 2.2 gpm faucet.
Fit, Mounting and What Comes in the Box
The Konya is a counter mount faucet that needs three holes in the sink or countertop, the usual drilling for a widespread faucet. The maximum deck thickness is 1.57", so measure the thickness of your counter or sink deck before you order. The faucet measures 13.6" W x 7" D x 6.6" H overall, weighs 6 lb and is made in China. Bellaterra packs the mounting tools in the box together with the matching drain, so the faucet and drain arrive as a set and are ready to install right out of the box.
Konya is offered in 4 finishes: Brushed Nickel, Gold, Matte Black and Oil Rubbed Bronze. This model is the Gold version, and the drain is supplied to match it. Gold is a living finish that will change over time as a result of normal use, so follow the care notes below. Clean the faucet with mild soap and water.
With two handle control, a three hole widespread mount and a matching drain in the box, the Konya suits a remodel where the vanity top is already drilled for a widespread faucet, the replacement of an older two handle faucet, or a new vanity with a sink that has three faucet holes.
For a bathroom that needs separate hot and cold control on a three hole sink, the Bellaterra Home Konya S8518-8-GD-W brings a solid brass body, ceramic disc cartridges, a 1.2 gpm flow and a matching pop-up drain with overflow, all in Gold.

Installation
Professional installation is recommended. The stainless steel supply hoses are pre-installed and the mounting tools are included: connect the hoses to the hot and cold shutoff valves under the sink, then fit the included drain into the sink drain opening and connect it to your existing trap.
Care
This is a living finish that changes over time: clean it only with mild soap and water, dry it after each use, coat it now and then with non-abrasive carnauba wax, and never use steel wool, abrasive cleaners or plumber's putty on it.
