CAP Access 2' x 4' Cabling Access Point with Removable Section

What it is

The CAP Access is the 2' x 4' member of HEPACART's patented CAP (Cabling Access Point) family: an aluminum ceiling panel with a brush-sealed opening, a roller assembly and a detachable insert. It fits a 2' x 4' ceiling grid natively and lets installers add or remove cable without taking the panel out of the ceiling.

Data closets

Because cable can come and go through the removable section, the CAP Access suits permanent installation over IT equipment racks and in data closets, where it closes off the tile around existing vertical runs and keeps a clean look. Horsehair bristles around the opening keep dust and debris from dropping onto the equipment below.

Size and build

The panel measures 24" x 48" and weighs 22 lbs. Rollers on the back reduce friction as cable is pulled, and both the bristles and the rollers are replaceable. It lays flat in the grid or can be supported from the building structure, the same as the 2' x 2' CAP models.

Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days, then HEPACART ships in-stock items by ground parcel from Lenexa, Kansas, within 2 to 4 business days. Custom or out-of-stock items can take 2 to 4 weeks. Shipping is free within the lower 48 states; for Alaska or Hawaii, contact us before you order. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it leaves HEPACART.

Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.

Unused HEPACART products in their original packaging can be returned within 7 days of delivery, if HEPACART approves the return. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. Returns carry HEPACART's 30% restocking fee, you pay the return freight, and the shipping we paid to deliver it and payment processing fees are not refunded. Custom and special-order items are final sale, and used or contaminated units can't be returned.

HEPACART covers the CAP Access under its own manufacturer warranty, on HEPACART's terms; we don't add a separate warranty. Complete the warranty activation when HEPACART's Warranty Activation Email arrives, and keep the model and serial number from the unit's label with your records.

Warranty claims. Contact us with your order number, model and serial number, and report any fault present on arrival within 10 days of delivery. We file the claim with HEPACART, which repairs or replaces equipment that was defective when it shipped.

HEPACART was founded in 2006 to solve one problem: doing construction and maintenance work in an occupied hospital without letting dust and airborne contaminants spread into the rooms around it. Its product line is assembled at its factory in Lenexa, Kansas, and HEPACART reports that carts it sold in 2006 are still in service.

The CAP Access is the CAP sized for a 2' x 4' tile without an add-on panel, and the one built to stay in the ceiling. The 2' x 2' CAP models cover individual pulls, and the CAP Combo sets pair a 2' x 2' CAP with a CAP Extend for 2' x 4' grids.
