Containment without NAM

The DUSTBUGGY Classic is HEPACART's mobile containment cart for ceiling work that does not call for a built-in negative air machine. A worker stands inside a closed, end-entry enclosure on an aluminum base while removing ceiling tiles or running cable above the grid, and the dust stays inside the cart instead of settling on the room below. HEPACART publishes the DUSTBUGGY for ICRA compliance levels I to II, for less critical areas than its HEPACART line.

Corner pole lift

The Classic version lifts its antimicrobial enclosure on four telescoping, spring-loaded poles. Each corner articulates and locks on its own, so the top frame seats against ceilings that are not level, and the top slide-out offsets the frame up to 8" to work around handrails and nurse stations. Nothing needs a tool, and the standard enclosure reaches 10'6"; a tall enclosure reaches 12'.

Three footprints

Sizes match the HEPACART range. The DUSTBUGGY 55 has a 55" x 29" interior for one worker, tools and a ladder at a 300 lbs working weight. The 74 stretches to 74" x 29" for two workers at 325 lbs, and the 74X widens to 74" x 39" for two workers plus larger equipment at 350 lbs. The 55 and 74 pass through any 36" door and the 74X through any 42" door.

Upgrade paths

The base already carries a 20' retractable cord, a three-way switch, dimmable HALO LED lighting, an in-use light and a differential pressure gauge. When a job needs negative air, an Export Adaptor (sold separately) connects the cart to an external negative air machine, or a HEPACART retrofit kit converts it in the field. Configurations here include left and right vision panels, Wall Access and the ALEM ladder extension, depending on size.

Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days, then HEPACART ships in-stock units from Lenexa, Kansas, within 2 to 4 business days, fully assembled on a pallet by LTL freight, and they spend about 1 to 6 business days in transit depending on your region. Custom or out-of-stock items can take 2 to 4 weeks. Freight is calculated at checkout and shown before you pay. It goes to a business address in the lower 48 states with a loading dock or forklift; contact us before you order if you need residential, liftgate, inside or appointment delivery, or delivery to Alaska or Hawaii. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it leaves HEPACART.

Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.

Unused HEPACART products in their original packaging can be returned within 7 days of delivery, if HEPACART approves the return. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. Returns carry HEPACART's 30% restocking fee, you pay the return freight, and the shipping we paid to deliver it and payment processing fees are not refunded. Custom and special-order items are final sale, and used or contaminated units can't be returned.

HEPACART covers the DUSTBUGGY Classic under its own manufacturer warranty, on HEPACART's terms; we don't add a separate warranty. Complete the warranty activation when HEPACART's Warranty Activation Email arrives, and keep the model and serial number from the unit's label with your records.

Warranty claims. Contact us with your order number, model and serial number, and report any fault present on arrival within 10 days of delivery. We file the claim with HEPACART, which repairs or replaces equipment that was defective when it shipped.

HEPACART was founded in 2006 to solve one problem: doing construction and maintenance work in an occupied hospital without letting dust and airborne contaminants spread into the rooms around it. Its product line is assembled at its factory in Lenexa, Kansas, and HEPACART reports that carts it sold in 2006 are still in service.

The DUSTBUGGY Classic shares its base, enclosure, poles and door with the HEPACART Classic but leaves out the built-in negative air machine, which suits ceiling work in less critical areas. The HEPACART AutoLift offers the same cart with push-button actuators, and any DUSTBUGGY can later be connected to an external negative air machine or retrofitted to a full HEPACART.
