A disposable envelope goes up like the reusable one: lock the ECU4 frame open, set the envelope inside, attach the Velcro corner cuffs at the loop that suits the ceiling height and fasten the top edge to the upper folding frame.
There is no new hardware to learn, so a crew trained on the reusable envelope can hang a disposable one on the next job without a separate procedure.
Fitted to an ECU4 frame, the disposable envelope encloses the work area for one job. When the work is done it is taken down and discarded, with no vacuuming or decontamination before the next use.
That makes it the practical choice for fire caulking and other messy tasks, and a fallback for clinical work when the reusable envelope is still waiting to be serviced.
The ECU4 frame is the reusable part of the system: a collapsible aluminum frame on integrated wheels that unfolds to a 31.31" x 61" footprint and adjusts from 7' to 10'6" tall.
Buy the frame once, then choose per job between the reusable modular envelope and a disposable one, so dirty work does not wear on the reusable envelope.

Four. Each envelope is used for one job and then discarded.
No. It needs an ECU4 frame, sold separately. The Disposable Envelope Starter Set packages one frame with four of these envelopes.
HEPACART lists it as the disposable envelope for Gen 2-4 frames, and it interchanges with the reusable envelope on an ECU4 frame. The ECU4 manual notes that Generation 4 parts do not fit earlier frames, so confirm your frame generation before ordering.
For especially dirty work such as fire caulking, for heavily contaminated jobs, and when the reusable envelope has not been serviced but the work is in a clinical area.
