ECU4 Mobile Platform with Non-Marring Locking Casters

What it is

The ECU4 Mobile Platform is an aluminum base for HEPACART's ECU4 collapsible containment unit. Four non-marring casters with brakes are mounted to the platform, and the ECU4 frame is held on it with Velcro locking straps, so a deployed unit rolls along a corridor from one work area to the next.

Size and reach

The platform measures 31.874" W x 66.774" L and weighs 58 lbs. Standing on it, the ECU4 reaches 11', which helps under taller ceilings. HEPACART also lists an optional caster upgrade rated 650 lbs each for heavier loads.

Tow Cart pairing

The Mobile Platform Tow Cart attaches to the platform and lets an external negative air machine be towed with the ECU4, so the unit and its machine move as one. The platform is included in all five ECU4 Mobile Containment Bundles and in the ICRA disposable envelope kit, which suits buyers starting from scratch.

Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days, then HEPACART ships in-stock units from Lenexa, Kansas, within 2 to 4 business days, fully assembled on a pallet by LTL freight, and they spend about 1 to 6 business days in transit depending on your region. Custom or out-of-stock items can take 2 to 4 weeks. Freight is calculated at checkout and shown before you pay. It goes to a business address in the lower 48 states with a loading dock or forklift; contact us before you order if you need residential, liftgate, inside or appointment delivery, or delivery to Alaska or Hawaii. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it leaves HEPACART.

Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.

Unused HEPACART products in their original packaging can be returned within 7 days of delivery, if HEPACART approves the return. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. Returns carry HEPACART's 30% restocking fee, you pay the return freight, and the shipping we paid to deliver it and payment processing fees are not refunded. Custom and special-order items are final sale, and used or contaminated units can't be returned.

HEPACART covers the ECU4 Mobile Platform under its own manufacturer warranty, on HEPACART's terms; we don't add a separate warranty. Complete the warranty activation when HEPACART's Warranty Activation Email arrives, and keep the model and serial number from the unit's label with your records.

Warranty claims. Contact us with your order number, model and serial number, and report any fault present on arrival within 10 days of delivery. We file the claim with HEPACART, which repairs or replaces equipment that was defective when it shipped.

HEPACART was founded in 2006 to solve one problem: doing construction and maintenance work in an occupied hospital without letting dust and airborne contaminants spread into the rooms around it. Its product line is assembled at its factory in Lenexa, Kansas, and HEPACART reports that carts it sold in 2006 are still in service.

The Mobile Platform is the ECU4 accessory for mobility, and the Tow Cart hitches to it to carry a negative air machine. Both come in every ECU4 Mobile Containment Bundle; buy them separately to add mobility to an ECU4 you already own.
