ECU4 Tow Cart for the Mobile Platform

What it is

The ECU4 Tow Cart is HEPACART's caddy for a negative air machine. It attaches to the ECU4 Mobile Platform and lets an external negative air machine be towed with the ECU4, so the containment unit and the machine that holds it under negative pressure travel down a corridor together.

What you need

The Tow Cart works with the ECU4 Mobile Platform, sold separately, and carries a negative air machine you supply. HEPACART includes it, with the platform, in all five ECU4 Mobile Containment Bundles and in the ICRA disposable envelope kit, and several of those kits also include a negative air machine.

Where the duct goes

The cart rides at one end of the platform, and the ECU4 has a 12.5" duct port on each narrow end, so the machine on the cart can feed whichever end of the unit is nearest. Keep the flex duct run short and route the power cord to the side with the outlet.

Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days, then HEPACART ships in-stock items by ground parcel from Lenexa, Kansas, within 2 to 4 business days. Custom or out-of-stock items can take 2 to 4 weeks. Shipping is free within the lower 48 states; for Alaska or Hawaii, contact us before you order. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it leaves HEPACART.

Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.

Unused HEPACART products in their original packaging can be returned within 7 days of delivery, if HEPACART approves the return. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. Returns carry HEPACART's 30% restocking fee, you pay the return freight, and the shipping we paid to deliver it and payment processing fees are not refunded. Custom and special-order items are final sale, and used or contaminated units can't be returned.

HEPACART covers the ECU4 Tow Cart under its own manufacturer warranty, on HEPACART's terms; we don't add a separate warranty. Complete the warranty activation when HEPACART's Warranty Activation Email arrives, and keep the model and serial number from the unit's label with your records.

Warranty claims. Contact us with your order number, model and serial number, and report any fault present on arrival within 10 days of delivery. We file the claim with HEPACART, which repairs or replaces equipment that was defective when it shipped.

HEPACART was founded in 2006 to solve one problem: doing construction and maintenance work in an occupied hospital without letting dust and airborne contaminants spread into the rooms around it. Its product line is assembled at its factory in Lenexa, Kansas, and HEPACART reports that carts it sold in 2006 are still in service.

The Tow Cart completes the ECU4 mobility set: the Mobile Platform rolls the containment unit and the Tow Cart brings the negative air machine along behind it. Both are in every ECU4 Mobile Containment Bundle.
