The ANZZI EF-AZ101WH is a Daisy Series 80 CFM ceiling mount bathroom exhaust fanwith a white grille, rated 0.7 sones and sized for rooms up to 75 sq. ft. Trapped humidity causes wear and tear on paint, drywall and fixtures, and the fan removes excess moisture, odors and pollutants.
80 CFM for Rooms up to 75 Sq. Ft.
Humidity left trapped after a shower or bath wears on paint, drywall and fixtures. At 80 CFM, the fan cycles that moist air out quickly, and it is rated for medium-size bathrooms of up to 75 sq. ft. It is rated at 0.7 sones for super quiet operation.
The fan runs on its own wall switch, separate from the light. With a 9" x 9" housing and a 17 W motor, it is a straightforward upgrade for a powder room, half bath or small full bathroom of up to 75 sq. ft..
A built-in LED light in the grille brightens the bathroom while using less energy, and it runs on its own wall switch.
Built to Last in a Wet Room
The housing is sturdy galvanized steel, tough and rust resistant, and the 17 W AC capacitor motor is thermally protected and permanently lubricated for a long life with no oiling. ANZZI lists the fan as ETL-cETL, HVI, CEC certified and ENERGY STAR.
Fit, Ducting and Installation
The housing measures 9" L x 9" W x 5-3/4" H, with a 11-7/8" L x 11-3/8" W grille, and it fits 9" to 24" between joists, or mounts to I-joists, standard joists and truss construction. It connects to 4" round ductwork with a damper. As a replacement, the ceiling opening may need enlarging to 9" by 9.8".
Safety and Installation Rules
Installation work and electrical wiring must be done by qualified persons to all applicable codes and standards, including fire-rated construction, and the unit must be grounded. Install it at least 7 ft above the floor in the USA (8.2 ft in Canada), in a ceiling up to a 12/12 pitch with the duct connector pointing up, never in a wall. Over a tub or shower it must be marked as suitable for that use and connected to a GFCI protected branch circuit, and no switch may be reachable from the tub or shower. Ducted fans must vent outdoors, the fan must not be used with a solid-state speed control, and it is not for use in a cooking area or for hazardous or explosive vapors.
The ANZZI EF-AZ101WH bathroom exhaust fan pairs 80 CFM with 0.7-sone quiet operation in a galvanized steel housing.
80 CFM Moisture Removal
Moves 80 CFM to clear steam, odors and pollutants quickly, protecting paint, drywall and fixtures from humidity damage.
Quiet 0.7 Sones
The fan is rated at 0.7 sones, and its operation is super quiet for a bathroom.
Rooms up to 75 Sq. Ft.
It clears the air in rooms of up to 75 sq. ft., sized for medium-size bathrooms.
Fits 4" Round Ducts
The rust-resistant galvanized steel housing has a duct connector that takes 4" round ductwork with a damper.
Built-In LED Light
An LED light in the grille brightens the room on its own switch and uses less energy.
Long-Life Capacitor Motor
The 17 W AC motor is thermally protected and permanently lubricated, so it never needs oiling.
Sold separately: Round ductwork, roof or wall cap with damper, duct tape and wire nuts
Installation
Ceiling mounted between joists spaced 9" to 24", or to I-joists, joists or trusses, with the housing flange flush to the joist. In the USA install it at least 7 ft above the floor (8.2 ft in Canada), on a GFCI protected branch circuit. Run 120V AC house wiring to the fan and connect it with UL-approved wire nuts (not provided) as the wiring diagram shows, with separate fan and light switches. Connect 4" round ductwork (not provided) to the duct connector, check that the damper flips freely, tape every joint airtight, keep the run short with few bends, and end at a roof or wall cap with a built-in damper.
Care
Before servicing or cleaning unit, switch power off at service panel and lock the switch to prevent power from being switched on accidentally. When the switch cannot be locked, securely fasten a prominent warning device, such as a tag, to the service panel. Remove the grille by pinching its springs and wash it in warm, soapy water, then dry it before refitting. Remove dust from the fan body with a vacuum cleaner. Do not use abrasive cloths, and never use solvents, thinner or harsh chemicals on the fan.
