Installation & Care
Installation
Freestanding, center 1.65" drain; overall 66.9" L x 30.7" W x 28" H, 102 lbs empty. The tub ships with the drain and overflow. Set the tub on cardboard or carpet while you work so the acrylic does not scratch, adjust the feet until it sits level (Empava's manual notes that only a level tub drains properly to the waste outlet), connect the drain to your waste outlet, then fill it and check that all the water runs away before sealing. Finish with a bead of silicone around the base and let it set for 24 hours. Empava's manual calls for the waste connection to be made by a qualified person; no electrical supply is needed.
Care
Rinse the tub after each bath so dirt and soapsuds do not build up on the walls. Clean with a soft cloth and a neutral detergent or soapy water; keep sharp or hard tools, open flames, cigarettes and solvents such as acetone or paint remover away from the acrylic, which they can soften or crack. Light scratches polish out with car or metal polish on a soft cloth; deeper ones can be wet-sanded with 1000 grit paper and then polished. Empava's manual also advises supervising children and taking care getting in and out, as wet acrylic is slippery.

You pay the return shipping, which for a tub means freight, and a restocking fee of up to 20% may be deducted along with payment processing fees.
