The Empava EMPV-71JT802 is a 71.1" alcove two-person combination massage tub with an inline heater, LED lights, Bluetooth and FM audio, and ozone. It measures 71.1" L x 42.1" W x 25.8" H, holds 145 gallons and gives a 16" soaking depth, with a left-side drain.
26 Water Jets and 30 Air Jets
Fifty-six jets layer the massage: 26 water jets for a firm, targeted massage and 30 air jets for a softer bubble soak. A waterfall at the neck rest flows over the neck, supported by an ergonomic round pillow, and the reclining area has a two-level slope that supports the back and rests tired legs.
The heater keeps the bath at your chosen temperature for mid-winter soaks; the control panel sets it between 25°C and 45°C (77°F and 113°F), and the heater switches on whenever the water drops 1°C below the setting. LED lighting colors the water, Bluetooth and FM radio play music, and an ozone function helps keep the bathwater fresher between uses.
The tub arrives pre-assembled and only needs to be hooked up to water and electricity; its front panel comes off for servicing. The faucet set (with a diverter between waterfall and hand shower), hand shower, headrest, drain, drain pipe and overflow are included. It weighs 265 lbs empty and needs two separate dedicated 26A plugs.
Planning Around a 71.1" x 42.1" Footprint
Plan for an overall size of 71.1" L x 42.1" W x 25.8" H; empty, it weighs 265 lbs. It holds 145 gallons at a 16" soaking depth. The drain is on the left side, with a 1.65" opening. Empava's manual plans for a 31.5" drain pipe with the floor drain 12" from the tub drain, and 1/2" hot and cold supply connectors. For power, Empava lists 110/120V, two separate 26A dedicated plugs with leakage protection.
Choosing Within Empava's JT Jetted Tub Range
If you are weighing options within Empava's JT jetted tub range, the models closest in nominal size are the EMPV-71JT408-BK, the EMPV-71JT408-BN and the EMPV-71JT667B. Each is listed with its own photos, specifications and documents, so you can compare size, capacity, jets and drain position against this model.
Its manual recommends flushing the pump and pipes before first use and once a month with hot water and a low-foaming detergent, and cleaning hair and lint from the suction cover, so the jets stay clean. Before installation, Empava asks you to run every function with water in the tub for a few minutes and report any defect.
In short, the EMPV-71JT802 is an Empava 71" alcove combination massage tub with 26 water jets, 30 air jets, a heater, LED lighting and 145 gallons of water.

Installation & Care
Installation
Alcove or drop-in install, left-side 1.65" drain; overall 71.1" L x 42.1" W x 25.8" H, 265 lbs empty and 145 gallons full. The tub arrives pre-installed and connects to water and electricity. The tub's drain pipe is 31.5" long, and Empava's manual places the floor drain 12" from the tub drain so the pipe forms an S-bend odor trap; leave a drain opening of at least 2.0". Rough in 1/2" external-thread hot and cold supply connectors that stand 1.18" out from the wall, with a shutoff valve on each line where you can reach it for service. It needs two separate grounded, dedicated 110/120V plugs installed with leakage protection by a licensed electrician. Empava's manual rates each at 26A. Empava's manual puts the external circuit behind a high-sensitivity, fast-trip leakage-protection switch (induced current below 15mA, trip time under 0.1 second, rated current above 30A). Before you set it in place, fill the tub and run every function for a few minutes: Empava asks that any defect is reported before installation.
Care
Flush the jet system before first use and once a month: fill with hot water (about 104°F) 0.9" to 1.2" above the jets, add 2 to 3 teaspoons of low-foaming dishwasher detergent, run the jets for 10 minutes and drain, then refill with cold water, run 15 minutes and drain again. Clear hair and lint from the suction cover regularly and never run the jets dry. Clean the acrylic with water or a mild detergent; acids, alkalis and solvent cleaners damage the surface. Light scratches can be wet-sanded with 1200 then 2000 grit paper and polished back to a gloss. In freezing weather, drain the tub and its pipes.
