Installation
Outdoor, freestanding; overall 86.61" L x 86.61" W x 34.25" H, 855.39 lbs empty plus 387 gallons of water; as Empava's manual asks, keep the area under the tub clean, with no mud or metal left beneath it. The tub's manual, which includes a Balboa BP501 system sheet, asks for installation by qualified technicians and specifies a 240VAC, 48A, Class A GFCI-protected service (breaker up to 60A, four wires: hot, hot, neutral, ground); it also says the tub must be permanently connected to the fixed wiring. A separate Gecko TP500S control-panel tech book in Empava's documents for this tub says installation must be done by a licensed electrician, and its own power rules apply if your tub has that control system. Before the first fill, close all drain valves and tighten every jet and pump joint, and fill until the water is 2 to 3 cm over the probe screw.
Care
Clean the paper filter element once a week if you use the spa daily, and keep the water at or below 40°C (104°F). Test the GFCI with its own button regularly. Cover the tub when it is not in use to shield the surface from sun, and in very cold weather keep it powered and filled to protect it from freezing. Never run the pumps with the water below the jets, and do all maintenance with the power off.

Unused Empava products in their original packaging can be returned within 21 days of delivery. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. You pay the return shipping, which for a tub means freight, and a restocking fee of up to 20% may be deducted along with payment processing fees. Installed, used or damaged products and special-order items can't be returned.

Empava's warranty policy covers the original purchaser, for everyday home use in the continental US, and Empava supplies replacement parts for covered parts free of charge.
