The Empava EMPV-SPA3550 is a 6-person square outdoor hot tub with 55 jets, 6 massage modes and full-cycle ozone filtration, with seats for up to 6 people. It measures 84.64" L x 84.64" W x 34.64" H, holds 308 gallons and gives a 30.71" soaking depth.
55 Jets in a Square Outdoor Spa
Fifty-five jets work with 6 massage modes and 3 speeds, and the seats are laid out for up to 6 people. An enhanced LED lighting system of 20 lights reaches every corner, so steps in and out are lit even late at night, and a waterfall and fountain add to the setting.
Water care runs on a 100% full-cycle ozone filtration system rather than traditional chlorine or bromine. Constant heating keeps the water warm, and Empava's Lucite acrylic insulates three times better than ordinary materials, by its account, with a lifespan of more than 20 years.
The acrylic is listed as antimicrobial, in cloud gray, and the tub weighs 723 lbs empty. Empava's spec tab lists it as a freestanding installation with a thermostatic system and LED lights. Its manual calls for a 240VAC, GFCI-protected service installed by qualified technicians. The cover is offered separately.
Planning Around a 84.64" x 84.64" Footprint
Plan for an overall size of 84.64" L x 84.64" W x 34.64" H; empty, it weighs 723 lbs. It holds 308 gallons at a 30.71" soaking depth. The drain is lower outside of the skirt. For power, Empava lists 240VAC, 48A, Class A GFCI-protected service (breaker up to 60A), hardwired.
Choosing Within Empava's SPA Hot Tub Range
If you are weighing options within Empava's SPA hot tub range, the models closest in nominal size are the EMPV-SPA3528 and the EMPV-SPA3527. Each is listed with its own photos, specifications and documents, so you can compare size, capacity, jets and drain position against this model.
Empava's manual keeps the water at or below 40°C (104°F), with 30°C to 40°C as its safety scope for the human body, and suggests lowering the temperature after 10 to 15 minutes in the water. If you use the spa daily, it asks you to clean the paper filter element once a week and to cover the tub against the sun when it is not in use. It also advises against using the spa straight after strenuous exercise.
In short, the EMPV-SPA3550 is an Empava outdoor hot tub with 55 jets, a heater and 308 gallons of water.

Installation & Care
Installation
Outdoor, freestanding; overall 84.64" L x 84.64" W x 34.64" H, 723 lbs empty plus 308 gallons of water; as Empava's manual asks, keep the area under the tub clean, with no mud or metal left beneath it. The tub's manual, which includes a Balboa BP501 system sheet, asks for installation by qualified technicians and specifies a 240VAC, 48A, Class A GFCI-protected service (breaker up to 60A, four wires: hot, hot, neutral, ground); it also says the tub must be grounded and permanently connected to the fixed wiring. A separate Gecko TP500S control-panel tech book in Empava's documents for this tub says installation must be done by a licensed electrician, and its own power rules apply if your tub has that control system. Before the first fill, close all drain valves and tighten every jet and pump joint, and fill until the water is 2 to 3 cm over the probe screw.
Care
Clean the paper filter element once a week if you use the spa daily, and keep the water at or below 40°C (104°F). Test the GFCI with its own button regularly. Cover the tub when it is not in use to protect the surface from sun, and in very cold weather keep it powered and filled to protect it from freezing. Never run the pumps with the water below the jets, and do all maintenance with the power off.
