Installation & Care

Installation
Freestanding 59" soaking tub; plan open floor around it for the filler and for cleaning, and a floor that can carry the tub when full. Rough in the supply for a floor-mounted filler first. ANZZI's manual says this tub must be installed by a licensed or certified contractor, with a licensed plumber for the drain. Inspect the tub on delivery and report any damage within 5 business days. Before it is set for good, the installer tests it with the flexible drain provided: fill it, check for leaks, and only then install it permanently. Level it with the adjustable feet so every foot touches the floor, since an unlevel tub leaks, then run a bead of silicone around the base and allow 24 hours before use.

Care
Clean the acrylic and solid surface shell with regular soap and hot water on a non-abrasive cloth or sponge after use, so soap and hard-water deposits do not build up on the matte surface. Test any stronger cleaner on an inconspicuous area before using it on the whole tub, rinse completely with water immediately after applying it, rinse and dry any overspray on nearby surfaces, and do not let the cleaner soak. Skip scouring pads and powders, which can mark the finish.
