HEPACART AutoLift Mobile Containment Cart with Built-In HEPA Negative Air Machine

The AutoLift cart

The HEPACART AutoLift is the push-button version of HEPACART's ceiling-access containment cart. A rolling aluminum base carries a built-in HEPA-filtered negative air machine, an end-entry door and an antimicrobial enclosure that two electric actuators lift up to the ceiling grid. Crews use it to lift ceiling tiles, pull cable, and do minor duct or electrical work above occupied rooms in hospitals, data centers and server rooms. HEPACART publishes the HEPACART cart for ICRA compliance levels I to IV.

Electric lift system

In place of corner poles, the AutoLift has two internal actuators, each rated for 200 lbs, controlled by push buttons on the base. Each actuator can be set to its own height, so the top frame can be angled up to 45° to meet a sloped ceiling or to level out on an uneven floor. No tools are needed to raise or lower it, and if an actuator ever needs replacing, HEPACART designed it to be swapped for a stationary motor.

Sizes and footprint

The AutoLift comes in the same three footprints as the rest of the HEPACART range. The 55 holds one worker with tools and a ladder in a 55" x 29" interior; the 74 holds two workers in 74" x 29"; the 74X widens the interior to 74" x 39" for larger equipment. The 55 and 74 roll through any 36" door and the 74X through any 42" door, and all three stand 68" tall when lowered.

Going higher

Every size reaches 10'6" with its standard enclosure. Stackable Extension Modules, which are made for AutoLift carts only, each add 2' of enclosure height, so one module reaches 12' and additional modules take the cart to 14' and higher. A Multiple Tile Adapter opens two 2' x 4' ceiling tiles from the same footprint.

Configurations offered

Each size is offered as a base model or with left and right vision panels, a Digital Pressure Monitor with visible and audible alarms, or the Adjustable Ladder Extension Module (ALEM), which lets a taller ladder reach up to 16' with the worker still inside the cart. Some sizes also combine those options, as listed in the Configuration selector.

Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days, then HEPACART ships in-stock units from Lenexa, Kansas, within 2 to 4 business days, fully assembled on a pallet by LTL freight, and they spend about 1 to 6 business days in transit depending on your region. Custom or out-of-stock items can take 2 to 4 weeks. Freight is calculated at checkout and shown before you pay. It goes to a business address in the lower 48 states with a loading dock or forklift; contact us before you order if you need residential, liftgate, inside or appointment delivery, or delivery to Alaska or Hawaii. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it leaves HEPACART.

Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.

Unused HEPACART products in their original packaging can be returned within 7 days of delivery, if HEPACART approves the return. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. Returns carry HEPACART's 30% restocking fee, you pay the return freight, and the shipping we paid to deliver it and payment processing fees are not refunded. Custom and special-order items are final sale, and used or contaminated units can't be returned.

HEPACART covers the HEPACART AutoLift under its own manufacturer warranty, on HEPACART's terms; we don't add a separate warranty. Complete the warranty activation when HEPACART's Warranty Activation Email arrives, and keep the model and serial number from the unit's label with your records.

Warranty claims. Contact us with your order number, model and serial number, and report any fault present on arrival within 10 days of delivery. We file the claim with HEPACART, which repairs or replaces equipment that was defective when it shipped.

HEPACART was founded in 2006 to solve one problem: doing construction and maintenance work in an occupied hospital without letting dust and airborne contaminants spread into the rooms around it. Its product line is assembled at its factory in Lenexa, Kansas, and HEPACART reports that carts it sold in 2006 are still in service.

The AutoLift is the HEPACART cart for crews who move and reset often: the same base, enclosure and negative air machine as the HEPACART Classic, lifted by push-button actuators instead of spring-loaded poles. The Classic keeps the top slide-out for working beside wall obstacles, the DUSTBUGGY AutoLift drops the built-in negative air machine for lower-risk ceiling work, and the Stackable Extension Modules made for the AutoLift take it above 12'.
