HEPAFORCE AIR 1100 HEPA Negative Air Machine

What it is

The HEPAFORCE AIR 1100 is HEPACART's commercial-grade negative air machine and air scrubber, used to clean the air and create negative or positive air pressure in medical facilities, factories, commercial buildings and job sites, including confined spaces with mold, asbestos or lead. HEPACART publishes the HEPAFORCE AIR line for ICRA compliance levels I to V.

Filters and testing

Air passes a MERV 8 pleated pre-filter, then the fan, then a HEPA filter rated 99.99% at 0.3 µm that exceeds ASHRAE 52.2 MERV 16, mounted after the fan. Each filter is tested per IEST standards (air flow IEST-RP-C001), each unit is tested and verified to HEPA standards before it ships, and indicator lights show when the pre-filter or HEPA filter needs changing.

Airflow and power

Precision-tuned variable speed control runs the AIR 1100 from 50 to 1000 cfm. It runs on 120 V AC, 50/60 Hz, drawing 6 to 12 amps, and its fan motor has a 50,000 hour life expectancy. A self-storing commercial-grade power cord wraps on the housing, and HEPACART lists up to three AIR 1100 units on one 15-amp circuit.

Build and size

The housing is commercial-grade aluminum and high-impact ABS plastic, assembled with blind self-sealing rivets and silicone-sealed seams, on heavy-duty casters with handles so it tilts and wheels from room to room. It measures 35.25" L x 24.5" W x 20.5" H, weighs 80 lbs and has a standard integral 12" port for flex duct.

Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days, then HEPACART ships in-stock units from Lenexa, Kansas, within 2 to 4 business days, fully assembled on a pallet by LTL freight, and they spend about 1 to 6 business days in transit depending on your region. Custom or out-of-stock items can take 2 to 4 weeks. Freight is calculated at checkout and shown before you pay. It goes to a business address in the lower 48 states with a loading dock or forklift; contact us before you order if you need residential, liftgate, inside or appointment delivery, or delivery to Alaska or Hawaii. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it leaves HEPACART.

Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.

Unused HEPACART products in their original packaging can be returned within 7 days of delivery, if HEPACART approves the return. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. Returns carry HEPACART's 30% restocking fee, you pay the return freight, and the shipping we paid to deliver it and payment processing fees are not refunded. Custom and special-order items are final sale, and used or contaminated units can't be returned.

HEPACART covers the HEPAFORCE AIR 1100 under its own manufacturer warranty, on HEPACART's terms; we don't add a separate warranty. Complete the warranty activation when HEPACART's Warranty Activation Email arrives, and keep the model and serial number from the unit's label with your records.

Warranty claims. Contact us with your order number, model and serial number, and report any fault present on arrival within 10 days of delivery. We file the claim with HEPACART, which repairs or replaces equipment that was defective when it shipped.

HEPACART was founded in 2006 to solve one problem: doing construction and maintenance work in an occupied hospital without letting dust and airborne contaminants spread into the rooms around it. Its product line is assembled at its factory in Lenexa, Kansas, and HEPACART reports that carts it sold in 2006 are still in service.

The AIR 1100 is the smaller of HEPACART's two HEPAFORCE AIR negative air machines; the AIR 2100 moves up to 1700 cfm in a larger housing. HEPACART lists the AIR 1100 for the AnteRoom, and either machine can feed a Whisper Clean HEPA diffuser, and HEPACART sells fitted dust covers, filters and duct kits for each.
