Cooling Where People Work

Cooling Where People Work

On its stand, the pedestal fan sits at working height in a warehouse aisle, at a packing table or beside a machine. J&D built it to keep machinery and employees cool through warm shifts, with up to 6,520 CFM of thrust from the 30" model.

Because it rolls on 4" rubber wheels, one fan can follow the work through the day instead of being fixed to one spot.

Height-Adjustable Steel Stand

Height-Adjustable Steel Stand

A chrome insert tube in the pole sets the fan height, and the wide, low-profile base keeps it steady. The guards, pole and base are heavy-gauge, corrosion-resistant powder-coated steel.

Oscillating models pivot through 80 degrees to spread air across a work area, while fixed models aim steady air at one station. Both run on a 115V plug.

Got Questions?

Find answers below or contact our support team.

How tall does it adjust?

The pole has a chrome insert tube that adjusts the height of the fan center. J&D's website and sell sheet give different ranges (4' to 6' and 3'10" to 5'2"), so ask us if an exact height matters for your space.

Does it oscillate?

The VDF201WB2 (20"), VDF241WB2 (24") and VDF301WB2 (30") oscillate through 80 degrees with 3 speeds. The VDF20WB2 and VDF24WB2 are fixed, 2-speed models.

Does it need assembly?

Yes, light assembly: the fan head, pedestal base and wheel kit bolt together with the hardware packs supplied.

What power does it need?

A standard 115V outlet. The attached cord with a 3-prong plug is pre-wired for 115V.

Is it quiet?

J&D describes the direct drive motor as quiet but does not publish decibel ratings.
