J&D Indoor/Outdoor ES Shutter Exhaust Fan with Cord, UL507, 12" to 24"

What it is

The J&D Indoor/Outdoor ES Shutter Fan is a wall exhaust fan with a UL507 outdoor-certified motor, made for openings that can be hit by heavy, blowing rain: concession stands, public restrooms, school greenhouses, sheds and barns. It comes in 12", 16", 20" and 24" sizes and ships fully assembled.

Power and speeds

Every model has a built-in 9' cord with a 3-prong plug pre-wired for 115V and a switch, so installation needs no electrician. The 12", 16" and 20" have three speeds and the 24" has two. At 0.1" of static pressure J&D rates them at 673, 931, 2,427 and 3,464 CFM on high.

Shutter and motor

The high-efficiency aluminum shutter has a tie bar that reduces flapping and opening on windy days. The balanced three-blade aluminum prop runs on a corrosion-resistant coated steel hub, and the energy-efficient motor is fully enclosed and maintenance-free with sealed ball bearings. The coated steel guard is easy to clean and meets OSHA 1910.212(a)(5) on the inlet side; mount it so the shutter side is at least 7' above the ground.

Opening and accessories

Each size fits a rough opening 1/2" larger than the fan, from 12-1/2" to 24-1/2" square, and an optional J&D weather hood protects the exterior shutter side from harsh weather and severe wind. J&D covers the fan for 1 year against defects, and the motor carries a 2-year warranty.

Ship times vary by model and some are built to order, so we confirm the ship date by email after you order. Shipping is free within the lower 48 states on orders of $101 or more (orders under $101 ship for a flat $15); for Alaska or Hawaii, contact us before you order. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it leaves J&D.

Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.

Unused J&D equipment in its original packaging can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. Returns carry J&D's restocking fee of up to 25%, you pay the return shipping, and the shipping we paid to deliver it and payment processing fees are not refunded. Built-to-order, special-order and non-stock items are final sale, and installed or used equipment can't be returned.

J&D covers the Indoor/Outdoor ES Shutter Exhaust Fan for 1 year from the J&D invoice date against defects in materials and workmanship, and its motor for 2 years. Misuse, abuse, alterations, improper installation or operation, lack of maintenance and non-J&D parts void the warranty, and normal wear, cosmetic rust or corrosion, freight, removal, installation and labor are not covered.

Warranty claims. Contact us with your order number, model and J&D part number. We file the claim with J&D, which decides whether to repair, replace or credit the product. Keep the product clean, dry and stored until it does, because J&D may ask for it back.
