J&D Low-Pressure Fan Misting Kit, Stainless Cross or Poly Ring, 4 or 6 Nozzles

What it is

The J&D Low-Pressure Fan Misting Kit adds a cooling mist to a circulation fan when air movement alone is not enough. It comes as a rigid stainless-steel cross with 4 or 6 nozzles, a poly mist kit with 4 or 6 nozzles, or a rigid poly mist ring with 4 nozzles for 24" and 30" fans. The kits attach to the fan guard with cable ties.

Kits and water use

The stainless crosses and poly kits come completely assembled with nozzles, a 6' hose and a female hose connector, ready to connect to your water line or PVC header. Each 0.72 GPH nozzle runs at 40 PSI, so a 4-nozzle kit uses 2.88 gallons per hour and a 6-nozzle kit 4.32 gallons per hour. The rigid stainless crosses keep the nozzles perpendicular to the airflow for a consistent mist pattern.

Getting good results

Low-pressure misting runs on standard water pressure of about 60 PSI and makes 50 to 60 micron droplets. Keep the area around the fan clear so the droplets evaporate before they settle on a surface, use a good water filter, and have an air-exchange plan so the added moisture can leave the building. Replacement nozzles are J&D PP10992 with the PP10927 strainer.

Shipping is free within the lower 48 states on orders of $101 or more (orders under $101 ship for a flat $15); for Alaska or Hawaii, contact us before you order. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it leaves J&D.

Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.

Unused J&D equipment in its original packaging can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. Returns carry J&D's restocking fee of up to 25%, you pay the return shipping, and the shipping we paid to deliver it and payment processing fees are not refunded. Built-to-order, special-order and non-stock items are final sale, and installed or used equipment can't be returned.

J&D covers the Low-Pressure Fan Misting Kit for 1 year from the J&D invoice date against defects in materials and workmanship. Misuse, abuse, alterations, improper installation or operation, lack of maintenance and non-J&D parts void the warranty, and normal wear, cosmetic rust or corrosion, freight, removal, installation and labor are not covered.

Warranty claims. Contact us with your order number, model and J&D part number. We file the claim with J&D, which decides whether to repair, replace or credit the product. Keep the product clean, dry and stored until it does, because J&D may ask for it back.
