J&D Poly Stormer 36" Circulation Fan with Galvanized Bracket

What it is

The J&D Poly Stormer is a 36" direct drive circulation fan with a white polyethylene housing, built for high-volume airflow in warehouses, workspaces, greenhouses and livestock buildings. J&D rates it at 8,210 to 8,560 CFM of thrust depending on the motor, and it ships fully assembled with a hot-dip galvanized mounting bracket.

Housing and motor

The polyethylene housing will not rust or corrode, which suits damp and high-moisture buildings, and the three-blade prop is G90 galvanized steel. The 1/2 HP motor is direct drive with no belts or bearings to maintain, totally enclosed with sealed ball bearings, and UL and CUL recognized.

Four versions

Four versions are available: single phase (115/230V) or three phase (230/460V), each with a standard or a Gold Star motor. Gold Star motors are IP66 rated. The three-phase Gold Star model (VPS36CF-GS) is variable-speed capable with a VFD; the others run at one speed. None of the versions has a cord, so an electrician wires the fan in.

Mounting height and warranty

J&D notes that OSHA requires this fan to be mounted at least 7' above the floor, so plan it for overhead mounting rather than a work-height post. J&D covers the fan for 1 year against defects, and the motor carries a 2-year warranty.

Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days, then J&D Manufacturing ships them by freight truck (LTL) from Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Ship times vary by model and some are built to order, so we confirm the ship date by email after you order. Shipping is free to a business address in the lower 48 states with a loading dock or forklift; contact us before you order if you need residential, liftgate or appointment delivery, or delivery to Alaska or Hawaii. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it leaves J&D.

Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.

Unused J&D equipment in its original packaging can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. Returns carry J&D's restocking fee of up to 25%, you pay the return shipping, and the shipping we paid to deliver it and payment processing fees are not refunded. Built-to-order, special-order and non-stock items are final sale, and installed or used equipment can't be returned.

J&D covers the Poly Stormer 36" Circulation Fan for 1 year from the J&D invoice date against defects in materials and workmanship, and its motor for 2 years. Misuse, abuse, alterations, improper installation or operation, lack of maintenance and non-J&D parts void the warranty, and normal wear, cosmetic rust or corrosion, freight, removal, installation and labor are not covered.

Warranty claims. Contact us with your order number, model and J&D part number. We file the claim with J&D, which decides whether to repair, replace or credit the product. Keep the product clean, dry and stored until it does, because J&D may ask for it back.
