Simple controls, protected pump

Simple controls, protected pump

The control panel has a power switch that doubles as an emergency stop, separate fan and pump switches, a fan speed dial and, on the L models, a louver switch. Run the pump with the fan for evaporative cooling, or switch the pump off to use the KoolBreeze as a fan or to dry the pad.

A low-water safety stops the pump from starting when the tank is too low, which protects it from running dry. Use a dedicated outlet rather than sharing the circuit with other heavy loads.

Big airflow through a wet pad

Big airflow through a wet pad

The fan pulls outside air through a water-soaked cooling pad, where evaporation drops the air temperature before the cooler throws it across the room. There is no compressor and no exhaust duct, so the KoolBreeze can cool open bays, docks and tents.

On the L models, automatic oscillating louvers sweep the airflow side to side to widen coverage. Ice can be added through the ice door when the job needs extra cooling.

Large tank on locking casters

Large tank on locking casters

The water tank in the base supports up to 6 hours of operation without refilling, and the auto water inlet connects to a faucet for continuous running. A manual drain at the bottom makes the weekly water change quick.

The high-strength polyethylene body rolls on casters with brakes. Lock the brakes on a flat, level floor before running, because a full tank adds hundreds of pounds and an uneven floor can cause leaks.

Find answers below or contact our support team.

How long does a tank of water last?

KwiKool rates the KoolBreeze tank for up to 6 hours of operation without refilling. For all-day use, connect a garden hose to the auto water inlet so the tank tops itself up from a faucet.

Can it run as a fan only?

Yes. Switch the pump off and the KoolBreeze runs as a fan. That is also how you dry the cooling pad: run the fan for 1 to 2 hours with the pump off before storing the unit.

Does it need a duct or a drain like a spot cooler?

No. An evaporative cooler has no compressor, so there is no hot exhaust to duct and no condensate to drain. You only need water in the tank, or a hose on the auto water inlet, and a power outlet.

How should I maintain it?

Clean the cooling pad and change the tank water weekly, using the manual drain at the bottom. Keeping the water clean protects the pump, because clogging from neglected cleaning is not covered by the warranty.

What comes with the cooler?

Each KoolBreeze ships with a canvas protective cover to keep it clean when it is not in use, along with the owner's manual.
