The MediTub 2739RWA is a 27" x 39" walk-in bathtub in white with an air bubble massage system and a right side drain with the blower on the left. It is built for anyone who finds stepping over a tub wall hard or unsafe: you open the outward-swinging door, step over a 7" threshold, sit down on a molded 14" high seat and close the door behind you before the bath fills.
A walk-in tub with a door suits aging in place, an ADA bathroom remodel or any home where someone finds a standard step-over tub difficult. The 2739RWA keeps the whole bath seated: you sit down before the water goes in and stay seated through the soak, so there is no climbing, kneeling or lowering yourself to the tub floor.
16-Jet Air Bubble Massage
With the door closed, the tub fills to a 29" soaking depth from drain to overflow, so you soak sitting upright with the water around you. 16 air bubble injectors on a 1 HP blower release a soft, even bubble massage across the body, and the system is safe to use with bath salts and aromatic oils. Fill the tub at least 2" above the highest jet before switching the jets on.
Grab Bar, Textured Floor and a Sealed Door
Safety is built into the shell: a built-in grab bar, a slip-resistant textured floor and an ADA compliant molded seat support you on the way in and out. The door closes on an advanced GE water seal, a door drain with a check valve clears water from the door channel after each bath, and the cable-operated waste and overflow opens and closes the floor drain with a chrome turn knob inside the tub.
The tub rides on a solid stainless steel frame with 8 laser precision support points and adjustable leveling feet, and the shell is acrylic. It installs back to a wall, in a 2-wall corner or in a 3-wall alcove, and MediTub sizes it for small bathrooms, existing shower stalls and mobile homes where a standard tub does not fit. Removable front access panels keep the blower reachable for service once the tub is installed. MediTub lists it as ADA compliant, CSA certified, IAPMO listed and UL certified, and its spec sheet shows UPC and EGS certification.
Sized for Small Bathrooms and Shower Stalls
Measured for the room, the MediTub 27" x 39" walk-in bathtub is 39" L x 27" W x 37" H overall, with a 20" interior width, a 19" x 17" standing area and a 4" faucet deck. The drain sits 7" from the side wall and 13" from the back wall, which is the rough-in your plumber works to. Its compact footprint is meant for small bathrooms, an existing shower stall or a mobile home, where a 60" tub does not fit. Measure on site before building the surround: jet, pump and blower positions are set at the factory and cannot be moved.
The MediTub 2739 series is offered in white, with the drain on the left or right, and as a soaking model with no jets, an air bubble model, a whirlpool model or a dual whirlpool and air model. All of them share the same shell, seat, door and safety features, so the choice comes down to the massage you want and which side of the room the drain needs to be on.
In short, the MediTub 2739RWA brings together a 7" step-in, a 14" ADA compliant seat, a 29" soak and air bubble massage in a white finish with a right drain, so bathing at home stays safe and independent.
Features
Low 7" Step-In Threshold
The outward-swinging door opens to a 7" threshold, so you step in rather than lift a leg over a full tub wall.
14" ADA Compliant Seat
A molded 20" wide seat at 14" height lets you sit down and stand up without lowering yourself to the tub floor.
16-Jet Air Bubble Massage
16 air bubble injectors on a 1 HP blower wrap the body in a gentle, even bubble massage that suits a long, relaxing soak.
Pneumatic Button Control
A pneumatic air button on the tub switches the blower on and off with a light press, so the massage runs only when you want it.
29" Soaking Depth
Water fills to 29" from drain to overflow in a 20" wide interior, so you soak upright on the seat in water much deeper than a standard bathtub holds.
Grab Bar and Textured Floor
A color-matched built-in grab bar and a slip-resistant textured floor give you a hand hold and secure footing while you sit, stand and step out.
Sealed Door With Door Drain
The outward-swinging door closes on an advanced GE water seal, and a door drain with a check valve clears leftover water from the door channel after each bath.
Stainless Steel Frame
A solid stainless steel frame with 8 laser precision support points and adjustable leveling feet carries the tub; set level, it keeps the door seal and drain working.
Flexible Installation
It installs back to a wall, in a 2-wall corner or in a 3-wall alcove, and MediTub sizes it for small bathrooms, existing shower stalls and mobile homes where a standard tub does not fit, in a footprint of 39" L x 27" W x 37" H.
Service Access Panels
Removable front access panels open for maintenance after installation, giving direct access to the blower on the left side.

Installation & Care
Installation
Right side drain, blower on the left; overall 39" L x 27" W x 37" H; the drain sits 7" from the side wall and 13" from the back wall. It installs back to a wall, in a 2-wall corner or in a 3-wall alcove. There is no tile flange; MediTub's manual calls for one on every wall side, so order the tile flange kit and fix it with silicone before the tub goes in. The supplied 1.5" waste and overflow connects to a minimum 1.5" sanitary drain line in Schedule 40 PVC, and the door drain hose joins the main drain at about 45 degrees. The faucet (sold separately) mounts on the 4" faucet deck. Electrical: one dedicated 110 to 120V branch circuit protected by a 15 A GFCI, run in 12 gauge, 3-conductor cable to a moisture-proof junction box 6" above the floor at the pump end, out of reach from inside the tub. Level the tub on its leveling feet and water test it before it is enclosed: fill above the highest jet, let it stand 30 minutes and run the jets for 10 minutes, and keep the motor access panel reachable. Lift the tub by its frame handles, never by the plumbing. MediTub requires installation by a licensed plumber and electrician; the installation manual is in Resources.
Care
Fill the tub at least 2" above the highest jet before you switch the jets on. Wipe the white shell with mild soap, warm water and a soft cloth, and rinse it; avoid abrasive pads, scouring powders and harsh chemical cleaners, which scour and dull the finish. Do not lean on the door or use it for support, since its alignment keeps the seal watertight. MediTub recommends a bath no hotter than 102°F.
