The MediTub 30" x 60" Step-In Bathtub in White comes in 6 versions: soaking, air jets or whirlpool jets and Left or Right drain side. Pick your options above to open the exact model, with its own price and details. The details below are for the Soaking, Left version.
The MediTub 3060SILWS is a 30" x 60" step-in bathtub in white with a non-jetted soaking basin and a left side drain. It is built for bathers who want a full-length, reclined soak without lifting a leg over a high tub wall: the inward-swinging door opens to a 7.5" step, and inside a 41" x 16" floor area leaves room to stretch out.
A step-in tub suits aging in place or any bathroom where a full-length soaking tub is wanted but the high wall of a standard bathtub has become a problem. The door does the work of the tub wall: step in on the level, close it behind you, then sit and recline as the tub fills.
A Deep, Quiet Soak With No Wiring
With the door closed, the tub fills to a 17" soaking depth from drain to overflow for a reclined, full-length soak. There are no jets, pump or blower, so the bath is quiet and still, it is safe for bath salts and aromatic oils, and the tub needs no electrical circuit.
Grab Bar, Textured Floor and a Sealed Door
Safety is built into the shell: a built-in grab bar and a slip-resistant textured floor support you on the way in and out, and the doorway gives 11.125" of clearance. The door closes on an advanced GE water seal, a door drain with a check valve clears water from the door channel after each bath, and the cable-operated waste and overflow opens and closes the floor drain with a chrome turn knob inside the tub.
The tub rides on a solid stainless steel frame with 8 laser precision support points and adjustable leveling feet, and the shell is acrylic. It is designed for an alcove installation. Removable front access panels keep the plumbing reachable for service once the tub is installed. MediTub lists it as ADA compliant and IAPMO listed, and its spec sheet shows UPC and EGS certification.
Fitting the 30" x 60" Footprint
Measured for the room, the MediTub 30" x 60" step-in bathtub is 58.5" L x 29.5" W x 23.75" H overall, with a 24.25" interior width, a 41" x 16" standing area and a 5" faucet deck. The drain sits 8.5" from the side wall and 14.75" from the back wall, which is the rough-in your plumber works to. Measure on site before building the surround: jet, pump and blower positions are set at the factory and cannot be moved.
The MediTub 3060SI series is offered in white, with the drain on the left or right, and as a soaking model with no jets, an air bubble model or a whirlpool model. All of them share the same shell, seat, door and safety features, so the choice comes down to the massage you want and which side of the room the drain needs to be on.
In short, the MediTub 3060SILWS brings together a 7.5" step-in, a 17" soak and a still, non-jetted bath in a white finish with a left drain, so bathing at home stays safe and independent.
Features
Low 7.5" Step-In Threshold
The inward-swinging door opens to a 7.5" threshold, so you step in rather than lift a leg over a full tub wall, through a doorway with 11.125" of clearance.
Room to Recline
A 41" x 16" floor area and a 24.25" interior width give room to stretch out for a full-length soak instead of sitting upright.
Quiet, Non-Jetted Soak
With no jets, pump or blower there is nothing to run or service, just a deep, still soak that is safe for bath salts and aromatic oils.
No Electrical Circuit Needed
Because the soaking model has no motors, installation needs only the plumbing connections, with no dedicated GFCI circuit to run to the bathroom.
17" Soaking Depth
Water fills to 17" from drain to overflow, deep enough for a full-length soak while you recline.
Grab Bar and Textured Floor
A built-in grab bar and a slip-resistant textured floor give you a hand hold and secure footing while you sit, stand and step out.
Sealed Door With Door Drain
The inward-swinging door closes on an advanced GE water seal, and a door drain with a check valve clears leftover water from the door channel after each bath.
Stainless Steel Frame
A solid stainless steel frame with 8 laser precision support points and adjustable leveling feet carries the tub; set level, it keeps the door seal and drain working.
Alcove Installation
It is designed for an alcove installation, in a footprint of 58.5" L x 29.5" W x 23.75" H.
Service Access Panels
Removable front access panels open for maintenance after installation, so plumbing stays reachable without opening the wall.

Installation & Care
Installation
Left side drain; overall 58.5" L x 29.5" W x 23.75" H; the drain sits 8.5" from the side wall and 14.75" from the back wall. It is designed for an alcove installation. There is no tile flange; MediTub's manual calls for one on every wall side, so order the tile flange kit and fix it with silicone before the tub goes in. The supplied 1.5" waste and overflow connects to a minimum 1.5" sanitary drain line in Schedule 40 PVC, and the door drain hose joins the main drain at about 45 degrees. The faucet (sold separately) mounts on the 5" faucet deck. The soaking model needs no electrical supply. Level the tub on its leveling feet and water test it before it is enclosed: fill above the highest jet, let it stand 30 minutes, and keep the motor access panel reachable. Lift the tub by its frame handles, never by the plumbing. MediTub requires installation by a licensed plumber and electrician; the installation manual is in Resources.
Care
Wipe the white shell with mild soap, warm water and a soft cloth, and rinse it; avoid abrasive pads, scouring powders and harsh chemical cleaners, which scour and dull the finish. Do not lean on the door or use it for support, since its alignment keeps the seal watertight. MediTub recommends a bath no hotter than 102°F.
