Four positions, three speeds

Four positions, three speeds

The A3SM moves up to 800 CFM on high from a sealed 1/5 HP motor while drawing 1.6 to 1.7 amps, and its housing sets in four positions, flat, on a 20° kickstand, at 45° and at 90°, to aim air across a floor, up a wall or into a cavity.

Its small size and low draw suit crawl spaces, cabinets, spaces under counters, ceilings and basements, the tight places where a full-size air mover does not fit.

Stacks on its side for storage

Stacks on its side for storage

At 10.5 lbs with a carry handle and a cord wrap, the A3SM is easy to move between rooms, and the units stack on their sides so several take little room in a storeroom or shop. Stacking is for storage only and is not secure for transport.

Built-in dual outlets let you daisy chain up to four more A3SM units on one circuit, and an on-board circuit breaker with a reset button protects the outlet.

Got Questions?

Find answers below or contact our support team.

How many A3SM units can run on one circuit?

Minuteman allows a daisy chain of four additional A3SM units (C43000-03) through the built-in outlets, and only A3SM units should be used in the chain. If the auxiliary outlet overloads, the on-board breaker trips: unplug the units, press the reset button and plug them back in.

What airflow and power draw does it have?

Up to 800 CFM on high from a sealed 1/5 HP three-speed motor, drawing 1.6, 1.65 and 1.7 amps across its speeds on 115 V, 60 Hz. The motor is thermally protected.

Where is it meant to be used?

Minuteman designed it to move air and dry small areas where larger air movers do not fit, such as crawl spaces, cabinets, spaces under counters, ceilings and basements. It also works as a high-velocity fan.

How heavy is it and what cord does it have?

It weighs 10.5 lbs and has a 10' 14 AWG cord that wraps on the handle. Plug it into a grounded 3-prong GFCI outlet.

Can I leave it running unattended?

No. Minuteman says air movers in operation must be supervised at all times, and they should not be moved or carried while running.
