The Ambassador Jr. sprays solution through three quick-disconnect jets, works it into the pile with a helical cylindrical brush across a 14" path, and recovers it with a 1 HP two-stage vacuum motor rated at 85" of water lift, all while the machine is drawn back across the carpet.
A gauge on the rear panel shows when brush pressure sits in the green zone, and an automatic float shutoff protects the vacuum motor when the recovery tank is full.

The solution tank and the removable recovery tank each hold 6 gallons. Empty the recovery tank when the dirty water is within 2" of the top: lift the clear dome, lift the tank out by its front handle and pour it off. Never tip the whole machine back with the recovery tank in place.
The 115 V model runs on a grounded 15 A, 115 V, 60 Hz outlet and has a hospital-grade plug. Voltage below 105 V or above 125 V can damage the motor. Its 50' power cord winds onto hooks on the back of the machine for storage.
Yes, through the auxiliary hookup. Move the gray recovery hose fitting from the dome to the auxiliary hose cuff, connect the tool's solution hose to the auxiliary coupler at the rear, then switch on the vacuum and the auxiliary pump. Hand tools are not included with the machine.
Empty the solution tank after each use and flush the pump with 2 to 3 gallons of clean hot water. Check the vacuum inlet filter and the solution strainer daily and rinse the recovery tank. Twice a month, purge the pump system with a quart of white vinegar in two gallons of hot water, followed by a clear rinse.
Liquid extraction chemicals only. Powdered chemicals may not dissolve fully and can clog the inline strainer, cutting flow to the pump and spray jets. Add defoamer to the recovery tank only, never to the solution tank.
