The E20 Cylindrical deck carries two cylindrical brushes that turn in opposite directions at 600 rpm. They scrub the surface and throw loose grit up into a debris tray, while the squeegee behind them picks up the dirty solution.
On grouted tile, textured safety flooring or rough concrete the bristles reach low spots that a flat pad skips. Empty and rinse the tray after each shift so it keeps catching debris.
Tipping the recovery tank back opens the battery compartment, where two 12 V batteries supply 24 V. The charger is built into the machine, and the scrubber will not run while its cord is plugged into an outlet.
Drain the recovery tank before lifting it. Wet lead-acid batteries need a distilled-water check before use; the gel option is sealed and maintenance free.
The solution lid on the E20 Cylindrical lifts to reach the 12 gal tank and a removable fill filter that keeps grit out of the solution line. A clear drain hose on the side doubles as a level gauge, read against markers molded into the tank at 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and full.
Operators can see how much solution is left without opening anything, so refills happen before the brushes run dry, and the same hose drains the tank straight to a floor drain.

Cylindrical brushes suit grouted tile, textured and uneven floors, and floors with loose grit, because they reach into low spots and sweep debris into a tray as they scrub. A disc machine such as the standard E20 is the usual choice for smooth, flat floors and for pad work.
Often not. The brushes carry loose grit, sand and small litter into the debris tray, which cuts down on pre-sweeping. Pick up large items such as cans, cardboard or string first, because they can catch in the brushes.
Tilt the bottom of the tray up and slide it out to the side of the deck, empty and rinse it, then slide its top edge back into the channel until it drops into place. Clean it regularly and after each use.
Both options give 24 V and charge on board. Minuteman lists 140 Ah for the wet lead-acid set, which needs regular watering, and a smaller sealed gel set that needs no watering.
Minuteman limits operation to grades of 2% or less, so it is a level-floor machine.
Minuteman lists 360 lbs with batteries. Traction drive does the pushing, so the weight matters mainly for loading and delivery.
