The Minuteman Front Runner 17 is a low-speed rotary floor machine with a 17" head and a 1.5 HP motor driving triple planetary steel gears at 175 rpm. Fit a pad or brush and it scrubs, strips and buffs tile, vinyl, concrete and terrazzo.
At 95 lbs it is the compact size in the series, easier to steer through classrooms, patient rooms, restrooms and offices where furniture and doorways leave less room to swing. A 50' cord lets the Front Runner 17 work a whole room from one standard outlet.

1.5 HP Capacitor-Start Motor
A heavy-duty capacitor-start motor on a 66 frame gives the starting torque that stripping and scrubbing demand, at an average draw of 14.4 amps.
Triple Planetary Steel Gears
Three planetary gear stages bring the motor down to a steady 175 rpm at the pad for smooth, even travel.
Steel and Stainless Steel Build
Powder-coated epoxy paint resists scratches and corrosion, and the handle tubes are coated steel.
Adjustable Handle, Dual Levers
Set the handle to any height from the operating position with the foot-operated release. Dual metal switch levers work for left- or right-handed operators.
Safety Interlock
The safety button must be pressed before the trigger levers start the motor, a light shows when the machine has power, and every control handle is non-conductive.
Hospital-Grade Cord
A 50' 14-3 water-resistant cord with a hospital-grade plug, a steel strain relief spring and a quick-release cord latch.
Non-Marking Bumper and Wheels
A wraparound PVC bumper protects walls and furniture, and non-marking rear wheels roll the machine between jobs.

Setup & Placement
Plug the 115 V machine into a grounded three-prong outlet on a standard 15 A, 120 V circuit, and unwind the cord fully before you start. Supply voltage below 105 V or above 125 V can damage the motor.
To fit a brush or pad driver, unplug the machine and tip it back so it rests on its handle, set the driver over the lugs under the gear unit and twist it to the left to lock it. Lower the handle to about waist height to operate.

Warranty. Covered by Minuteman's Commercial Limited Warranty; see the manufacturer warranty for the terms on this model. Wear items such as belts, cords, switches, hoses, rubber parts, brushes and electric motor components are not covered, and non-Minuteman replacement filters void the warranty. Claims go through Minuteman's factory-authorized service stations, for the original purchaser in the U.S. and Canada.
Shipping. Ships from the U.S.; larger machines travel by LTL freight truck.
Inspect on delivery. Check the carton and the machine when it arrives and note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing.
