The Minuteman Kleen Sweep 27 (model HM27R) is a manual walk-behind push sweeper for hard floors. The wheels drive a main broom and a belt-driven side broom as you walk, so it sweeps a 26" path with no battery, motor or cord, and drops the dirt into a 10.5-gallon hopper.
At 51 lbs with a steel frame, it replaces a push broom and dustpan in stockrooms, workshops, machine shops and warehouse aisles. Minuteman puts its theoretical coverage at 27,986ft² per hour.
Features
No Power Needed
Wheel-driven brooms sweep whenever the machine is pushed at walking pace. Nothing to charge, plug in or refuel.
Side Broom for Edges
The belt-driven side broom pulls dirt out of corners and along walls into the main broom path, widening the sweep from 18" to 26".
10.5-Gallon Hopper
Lifts out by its handle for emptying and seats against the broom housing to keep dirt from leaking.
Adjustable Broom Pressure
A knob with a reading scale sets main broom pressure as the bristles wear; a separate knob and caster set the side broom.
Clears Obstacles
Press down on the handle to lift both brooms, then roll over a threshold or cord cover on the large rear wheels.
Two Handle Positions
The handle bolts on with knobs in either of two positions to suit the operator.

Setup & Placement
The handle and side broom assembly ship unattached. Bolt the side broom arm to the frame, loop its V-belt from the idler pulley around the pulley behind the right wheel, and check that the side broom turns counterclockwise when you push forward. Fit the handle with the two knobs in whichever of its two positions suits the operator.

Warranty & Shipping
Warranty. Covered by Minuteman's Commercial Limited Warranty for manual sweepers: 3 years parts, 3 years labor, 12 years on polyethylene components and 90 days travel. Wear items such as belts, cords, switches, hoses, rubber parts, brushes and electric motor components are not covered, and non-Minuteman replacement filters void the warranty. Claims go through Minuteman's factory-authorized service stations, for the original purchaser in the U.S. and Canada.
Shipping. Ships from the U.S.; larger machines travel by LTL freight truck.
Inspect on delivery. Check the carton and the machine when it arrives and note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing.
