Two spray modes and an on-board wand

Two spray modes and an on-board wand

The XRide 28 extracts a 28" path while the operator drives: a 100 psi pump sprays through one jet in interim mode at 1/2 gpm and 50 psi, or four jets in restorative mode at 1 gpm and 100 psi, and a cylindrical brush deck scrubs ahead of vacuum motors rated at 152 CFM.

An off-aisle wand on 25' of hose rides on the machine for edges and spaces it cannot drive into, and the on-board charger locks the machine out while it is plugged in.

Got Questions?

Find answers below or contact our support team.

How much carpet can the XRide 28 clean per hour?

Minuteman rates it at a theoretical 9,060ft²/hr across a 28" path at a working speed of 65 fpm. Real output depends on the layout and on how often you stop to fill the 27-gallon solution tank and empty the 25-gallon recovery tank.

What batteries and charger does it use?

A 36 V pack of three 12 V AGM maintenance-free batteries rated at 234 Ah, charged by the on-board charger. The machine will not run while the charger is plugged in, and a seat sensor shuts it off when the operator leaves the platform.

What is the XRide 28 CFS?

A version of the XRide 28 with Minuteman's Chemical Free Solution option, which adds an on-board ozone generator to sanitize, deodorize and purify. This listing is the standard XRide 28.

How loud is it?

Minuteman measured 72 dB(A) at the operator's ear under normal conditions of use.

How are the tanks drained?

The recovery tank empties through its dump hose and has a drain port for a full clean-out. The solution tank has its own drain hose for leftover solution at the end of the job.
