The MRCOOL Advantage 5th Gen mini-split heat pump condenser is the outdoor half of an Advantage single-zone system, built around a DC inverter rotary compressor and R-454B refrigerant. It is rated with the Advantage wall-mount air handler of the same capacity and voltage, from 9,000 to 36,000 BTU/h, and reaches up to 21.5 SEER2 with the 9,000 BTU 115V pair.
Order it on its own when the matching Advantage air handler is already on site or bought separately; MRCOOL rates it only with that Advantage head. Installation is by a licensed HVAC contractor.

Matched to the Advantage Air Handler
Each condenser is rated with the Advantage wall-mount air handler of the same capacity and voltage, for example A-24-HP-C-230D-O with A-24-HP-WMAH-230D-O.
Inverter Rotary Compressor
The variable-speed DC inverter compressor follows the load, and the outdoor unit is rated from 52.5 dBA on the 9,000 BTU 115V size to 60.5 dBA on the 36,000.
Wide Operating Range
Cools in outdoor air from 5°F to 122°F and heats down to 5°F on the 9,000 to 24,000 BTU sizes; the 36,000 BTU size works down to -13°F.
Gold Fin Coil Protection
MRCOOL's Gold Fin coating on the coil helps it resist corrosion near the coast.
Rated Line Sizes
Lines are 1/4" x 3/8" on the 9,000 and 12,000 BTU sizes, 1/4" x 1/2" on the 18,000, and 3/8" x 5/8" on the 24,000 and 36,000.
Long Line Runs
Lines can reach 82' on the 9,000 and 12,000 BTU sizes and 213.2' on the 36,000, with up to 98.4' of height difference on the largest size.

Installation
Professional installation required. This equipment must be installed by a licensed HVAC contractor (EPA Section 608-certified for any refrigerant work), following MRCOOL's installation manual and all local codes, permits and licensing rules. MRCOOL's limited warranty applies only to units installed that way, and it does not cover installation labor.
Pairs with the Advantage 5th Gen wall-mount air handler of the same capacity and voltage. Plan on the contractor supplying the line set. Line sizes are 1/4" x 3/8" (9,000 and 12,000 BTU), 1/4" x 1/2" (18,000 BTU) or 3/8" x 5/8" (24,000 and 36,000 BTU). The factory charge covers 24.6' of line, with a maximum length of 82' to 213.2' and a maximum height difference of 49.2' to 98.4' by size. Circuit sizes are in the Specifications tab.

Shipping, Returns & Warranty
Ships to addresses in the United States only, by freight carrier for the larger cartons. Shipping cost is calculated at checkout, and the carrier may call ahead to book a delivery window.
Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
MRCOOL handles returns through the store you bought from, so your return comes to us. Unopened, unused MRCOOL equipment can be returned within 21 days of delivery with a return authorization from us. You pay the return shipping, and a restocking fee of up to 20% may be deducted along with payment processing fees. Opened, installed or used equipment and special-order items can't be returned.
MRCOOL's Advantage Series limited warranty covers parts for 1 year and the compressor for 2 years from the proof-of-purchase date. It is non-transferable, applies only to units bought from an authorized dealer and installed to all applicable codes and permits, and does not cover labor. Warranty claims. MRCOOL handles warranty claims directly through support.mrcool.com or (270) 366-0457. Some MRCOOL warranties cover the original purchaser only. Systems that aren't DIY need a valid installation invoice to open a claim.
