The MRCOOL Compact Refrigeration System is a 12,000 BTU packaged refrigeration unit that mounts through the wall of a walk-in cooler or freezer. An EVI DC inverter compressor and electronic expansion valve hold the box anywhere from 0°F to 50°F with surrounding air anywhere from 5°F to 113°F, with hot gas defrost and an R-32 circuit sealed at the factory.
It suits restaurants, shops, farms and other small operators building or retrofitting a cold room up to 968 ft³ as a cooler, or 416 ft³ as a freezer. Installation is by an authorized refrigeration technician. That is the MRCOOL Compact Refrigeration System.

Installation
Professional installation required. This equipment must be installed by a licensed HVAC contractor (EPA Section 608-certified for any refrigerant work), following MRCOOL's installation manual and all local codes, permits and licensing rules. MRCOOL's limited warranty applies only to units installed that way, and it does not cover installation labor.
Mounts through the cold box wall in an opening cut from the supplied template, supported by the included brackets; one sleeve set suits walls under 3.14" thick and two sets suit 3.14" to 6.29" (thicker walls are not recommended). The 180 lbs unit is lifted into the opening with a forklift or similar equipment and sealed around the edges, then the drain connector and 6.56' drain pipe are fitted. Leave 59" clear in front of the supply air. Power is 208/230V single phase on a 25 A breaker, with an optional 370VDC solar input.

Shipping, Returns & Warranty
Ships to addresses in the United States only, by freight carrier for the larger cartons. Shipping cost is calculated at checkout, and the carrier may call ahead to book a delivery window.
Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
MRCOOL handles returns through the store you bought from, so your return comes to us. Unopened, unused MRCOOL equipment can be returned within 21 days of delivery with a return authorization from us. You pay the return shipping, and a restocking fee of up to 20% may be deducted along with payment processing fees. Opened, installed or used equipment and special-order items can't be returned.
MRCOOL's limited warranty covers parts for 1 year and the compressor for 3 years from the proof-of-purchase date; if the compressor fails in the first year, the entire unit is replaced. It is non-transferable, assigned to the original, registered owner, valid in the USA and Canada, and does not cover labor. Warranty claims. MRCOOL handles warranty claims directly through support.mrcool.com or (270) 366-0457. Some MRCOOL warranties cover the original purchaser only. Systems that aren't DIY need a valid installation invoice to open a claim.
