The MRCOOL DIY Easy Pro system pairs a wall-mounted air handler with an outdoor heat pump and an 11.5' Quick Connect line set charged with R-454B, so it installs without a vacuum pump or refrigerant gauges. The 9,000 BTU size is rated 20.2 SEER2, and the system is rated to operate from -13°F to 122°F outdoors.
Four capacities cover rooms from up to 400ft² to up to 1,050ft², which makes it a fit for a garage, bedroom, office or bonus room off the main system. That is the MRCOOL DIY Easy Pro single-zone system.

Pre-Charged Quick Connect Line Set
The 11.5' line set comes charged with R-454B and joins the units with screw-on fittings, so no vacuuming or brazing is required.

Installation
Designed for homeowner installation. The Quick Connect line set arrives pre-charged with refrigerant, so no vacuum pump, gauges or refrigerant handling is needed. Each fitting is tightened with two wrenches to the torque in MRCOOL's manual and then leak-checked. Electrical work still has to meet local code: the 230V models need a dedicated 230V circuit, and some areas require a permit or a licensed electrician for that part of the job. Check your local rules before you start.
Mount the indoor unit at least 6' above the floor in a room no lower than 7.3'. The wall hole is 2.5" for the 9,000, 12,000 and 18,000 BTU sizes and 3.54" for the 24,000 BTU size, drilled at a slight downward angle. Line sizes are 1/4" x 3/8" (9,000 and 12,000 BTU), 1/4" x 1/2" (18,000 BTU) and 3/8" x 5/8" (24,000 BTU). The outdoor unit power cable is purchased separately.

Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
MRCOOL handles returns through the store you bought from, so your return comes to us. Unopened, unused MRCOOL equipment can be returned within 21 days of delivery with a return authorization from us. You pay the return shipping, and a restocking fee of up to 20% may be deducted along with payment processing fees. Opened, installed or used equipment and special-order items can't be returned.
MRCOOL's DIY Easy Pro limited warranty covers parts for 3 years and the compressor for 5 years from the proof-of-purchase date, with no registration required; line sets are not counted as covered parts. An extended limited lifetime replacement warranty is available only through MRCOOL's paid Care Kit Program when its conditions are met. The warranty is non-transferable, assigned to the original, registered owner, and does not cover labor. Warranty claims. MRCOOL handles warranty claims directly through support.mrcool.com or (270) 366-0457. Some MRCOOL warranties cover the original purchaser only. Systems that aren't DIY need a valid installation invoice to open a claim.
