The MRCOOL Olympus Multi-Zone mini-split heat pump condenser runs several Olympus indoor heads from one outdoor unit: the 18,000 BTU model serves up to three zones and the 48,000 BTU model up to six. It uses an inverter compressor and R-454B refrigerant, reaches up to 25.1 SEER2, and works with Olympus wall-mount, ceiling cassette and ducted air handlers in any combination on MRCOOL's match-up table.
It fits a home where several rooms need their own temperature without new ductwork. Installation is by a licensed HVAC contractor.

Choose 18,000 BTU for up to three heads, 27,000 for four, 36,000 for five or 48,000 for six.
Mix Head Styles
Olympus wall-mount, four-way ceiling cassette and concealed ducted heads from 9,000 to 24,000 BTU can share one condenser within MRCOOL's match-up table.
Inverter Efficiency
Up to 25.1 SEER2 on the 18,000 BTU model and up to 10.3 HSPF2 in Region IV on the 48,000.
Cold-Weather Heating
MRCOOL's submittal lists heating down to -13°F; the 36,000 BTU model is rated for 26,000 BTU/h at 5°F.
Long Total Line Runs
Up to 262.4' of total piping on the 27,000 to 48,000 BTU models, with 114.8' to any one head.
Self-Cleaning Outdoor Coil
After shutdown the outdoor fan runs in reverse for 70 seconds to blow loose dust off the coil, which carries MRCOOL's Gold Fin anti-corrosion coating.

Installation
Professional installation required. This equipment must be installed by a licensed HVAC contractor (EPA Section 608-certified for any refrigerant work), following MRCOOL's installation manual and all local codes, permits and licensing rules. MRCOOL's limited warranty applies only to units installed that way, and it does not cover installation labor.
Needs at least two Olympus indoor heads in a combination listed on MRCOOL's match-up table. Line sets are not included; each zone port takes 1/4" liquid line, with 3/8" or 1/2" suction by port. Maximum total piping is 196.8' (18,000 BTU) or 262.4' (27,000 to 48,000 BTU), with 98.4' or 114.8' to any one head, 49.2' of height between condenser and head and 33' between heads. The factory charge covers 24.6' per zone. Power is 208/230V single phase; circuit sizes are in the Specifications tab.

Shipping, Returns & Warranty
Ships to addresses in the United States only, by freight carrier for the larger cartons. Shipping cost is calculated at checkout, and the carrier may call ahead to book a delivery window.
Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
MRCOOL handles returns through the store you bought from, so your return comes to us. Unopened, unused MRCOOL equipment can be returned within 21 days of delivery with a return authorization from us. You pay the return shipping, and a restocking fee of up to 20% may be deducted along with payment processing fees. Opened, installed or used equipment and special-order items can't be returned.
MRCOOL's Olympus limited warranty covers parts for 5 years and the compressor for 7 years from the proof-of-purchase date, with no registration required. It applies to systems installed according to MRCOOL's instructions and all applicable codes and permits, and it does not cover labor. Warranty claims. MRCOOL handles warranty claims directly through support.mrcool.com or (270) 366-0457. Some MRCOOL warranties cover the original purchaser only. Systems that aren't DIY need a valid installation invoice to open a claim.
