The MRCOOL pre-charged cased evaporator coil adds heat pump cooling and heating to a gas furnace, arriving factory charged with R-454B and fitted with a hard shut-off TXV. Five sizes cover 1.5 to 5 tons in 14.5", 17.5", 21.62" and 24.5" wide cabinets, matched to MRCOOL's VersaPro 2nd Gen and Central Ducted Hyper Heat 2nd Gen heat pump condensers.
It is the coil for a dual-fuel upgrade, where the heat pump carries most of the year and the furnace covers the deep cold. Installation is by a licensed HVAC contractor. This is MRCOOL's pre-charged evaporator coil.

Arrives Charged With R-454B
The coil ships holding refrigerant and joins the condenser through No Vac Quick Connect lines from MRCOOL or through flare-to-sweat fittings.

MRCOOL's manual pairs each size with VersaPro MVP and Central Ducted Hyper Heat condensers from 1.5 to 5 tons.
Four Installation Positions
Install it upflow, downflow, horizontal left or horizontal right, and horizontal units have their own side drain pan built in.
Factory-Installed TXV
A hard shut-off expansion valve with a preset superheat setting comes fitted for R-454B.
A2L Leak Detection
A built-in refrigerant sensor shuts the compressor down and runs the indoor fan if it detects a leak.
CoolGuard Coil Protection
MRCOOL's CoolGuard corrosion-resistant coil is built for a long service life.
Dual Drain Fittings
Two 3/4" female threaded condensate connections in the pan let the contractor drain from either side.

Installation
Professional installation required. This equipment must be installed by a licensed HVAC contractor (EPA Section 608-certified for any refrigerant work), following MRCOOL's installation manual and all local codes, permits and licensing rules. MRCOOL's limited warranty applies only to units installed that way, and it does not cover installation labor.
Refrigerant connections are 3/8" liquid and 3/4" suction on every size. Set the coil level on the furnace discharge opening and seal the joint; it does not need to be screwed to the furnace. Install a trap at least 3" deep in the condensate line close to the coil, and fit a field-made secondary drain pan under the whole unit above a finished ceiling. The coil interface runs on 24V. Use only with R-454B outdoor units.

Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
MRCOOL handles returns through the store you bought from, so your return comes to us. Unopened, unused MRCOOL equipment can be returned within 21 days of delivery with a return authorization from us. You pay the return shipping, and a restocking fee of up to 20% may be deducted along with payment processing fees. Opened, installed or used equipment and special-order items can't be returned.
MRCOOL's limited warranty covers this coil's parts for 10 years from the proof-of-purchase date for the original owner. It is non-transferable, applies only to coils bought from an authorized dealer and installed to all applicable codes and permits, is voided if the coil is installed with a used, incompatible or unapproved condenser, air handler or coil, and does not cover labor.
