The MRCOOL Signature Series TruInverter heat pump condenser is the outdoor half of a TruInverter central split system, built around a variable-speed compressor, an electronic expansion valve and a factory charge of R-454B, in 2, 3, 4 and 5-ton sizes. Each size is rated with the TruInverter multi-position air handler of the same tonnage: 18 SEER2 and 9.0 HSPF2 on the 2-ton, 19 SEER2 and 9.0 HSPF2 on the 3-ton, 18 SEER2 and 8.5 HSPF2 on the 4-ton, and 17 SEER2 and 8.2 HSPF2 on the 5-ton.
It keeps heating in outdoor temperatures down to -5°F, which suits homeowners moving from a single-stage system to inverter comfort. Installation is by a licensed HVAC contractor.

Matched Air Handler Pairing
Each condenser carries its AHRI rating with the TruInverter multi-position air handler of the same tonnage, sold separately.
Inverter Compressor
A variable-speed rotary compressor and electronic expansion valve follow the load instead of cycling at full power; on the 2-ton, cooling output ranges from 7,000 to 25,000 BTU/h.
Wide Operating Range

Factory Charge for 25'
The R-454B charge covers a 25' line set; longer runs take added refrigerant, up to 100' on the 2-ton and 3-ton and 165' on the 4-ton and 5-ton.

Every size stands on a 29.12" square footprint with a steel louver coil guard; the 2-ton and 3-ton are 24.94" tall and the 4-ton and 5-ton 33.19" tall.

Installation
Professional installation required. This equipment must be installed by a licensed HVAC contractor (EPA Section 608-certified for any refrigerant work), following MRCOOL's installation manual and all local codes, permits and licensing rules. MRCOOL's limited warranty applies only to units installed that way, and it does not cover installation labor.
Pairs with the TruInverter multi-position air handler of the same tonnage. Refrigerant lines are 3/8" liquid with 3/4" suction (2-ton and 3-ton) or 7/8" suction (4-ton and 5-ton), not included. Add 0.0335 lb of R-454B per foot of line beyond 25', up to 100' (2-ton and 3-ton) or 165' (4-ton and 5-ton), and keep the height difference between units within 50'. In snowy areas, raise the condenser on risers per local climate and code so defrost water drains away. Power is 208/230V single phase; circuit sizes are in the Specifications tab.

Shipping, Returns & Warranty
Ships to addresses in the United States only, by freight carrier for the larger cartons. Shipping cost is calculated at checkout, and the carrier may call ahead to book a delivery window.
Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
MRCOOL handles returns through the store you bought from, so your return comes to us. Unopened, unused MRCOOL equipment can be returned within 21 days of delivery with a return authorization from us. You pay the return shipping, and a restocking fee of up to 20% may be deducted along with payment processing fees. Opened, installed or used equipment and special-order items can't be returned.
MRCOOL's limited warranty gives the original owner 10 years on parts and a limited lifetime warranty on the compressor, counted from the proof of purchase date. It covers replacement parts only, not labor, and it requires purchase from an authorized dealer and installation that follows all applicable codes, permits and licensing. Warranty claims. MRCOOL handles warranty claims directly through support.mrcool.com or (270) 366-0457. Some MRCOOL warranties cover the original purchaser only. Systems that aren't DIY need a valid installation invoice to open a claim.
