The MRCOOL Signature Series TruInverter system pairs a variable-speed heat pump condenser with its matched multi-position air handler for whole-house ducted heating and cooling, in 2, 3, 4 and 5-ton sizes. Ratings reach 19 SEER2 on the 3-ton pair, and the inverter compressor holds the house within 2°F of the setpoint rather than swinging between full power and off.
It suits homeowners replacing a central system who want inverter comfort, and MRCOOL ships each system with its TruInverter wired thermostat. Installation is by a licensed HVAC contractor. This is the Signature Series TruInverter system.

Variable-Speed Compressor
TruInverter matches compressor output to the load, from 8,000 to 36,000 BTU/h of cooling on the 3-ton pair, which steadies temperatures and cuts start-stop wear.
Heats Down to -5°F
MRCOOL rates the system for heating from -5°F to 80°F outdoors and for cooling from 5°F to 125°F.
Free Match 24V Controls
No communication cable is needed between the units, and the system works with most third-party 24V thermostats.
Four-Way Air Handler
The air handler installs upflow, downflow, horizontal left or horizontal right to suit the duct layout.
Lower-GWP Refrigerant
The condenser ships charged with R-454B, which has a global warming potential of 467.
Faster Service Visits

Electric Backup Heat Option

Installation
Professional installation required. This equipment must be installed by a licensed HVAC contractor (EPA Section 608-certified for any refrigerant work), following MRCOOL's installation manual and all local codes, permits and licensing rules. MRCOOL's limited warranty applies only to units installed that way, and it does not cover installation labor.
Refrigerant lines are 3/8" liquid with 3/4" suction (2-ton and 3-ton) or 7/8" suction (4-ton and 5-ton), not included. The factory charge covers 25' of line; beyond that the contractor adds 0.0335 lb of R-454B per foot, up to 100' (2-ton and 3-ton) or 165' (4-ton and 5-ton), with no more than 50' of elevation difference. Leave 25" in front of the air handler for filter and coil service, and fit a secondary drain pan under horizontal installs. Both units run on 208/230V single phase; circuit sizes are in the Specifications tab. The air filter is not included.

Shipping, Returns & Warranty
Ships to addresses in the United States only, by freight carrier for the larger cartons. Shipping cost is calculated at checkout, and the carrier may call ahead to book a delivery window.
Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
MRCOOL handles returns through the store you bought from, so your return comes to us. Unopened, unused MRCOOL equipment can be returned within 21 days of delivery with a return authorization from us. You pay the return shipping, and a restocking fee of up to 20% may be deducted along with payment processing fees. Opened, installed or used equipment and special-order items can't be returned.
MRCOOL's limited warranty gives the original owner 10 years on parts and a limited lifetime warranty on the compressor, counted from the proof of purchase date. It covers replacement parts only, not labor, and it requires purchase from an authorized dealer and installation that follows all applicable codes, permits and licensing. Warranty claims. MRCOOL handles warranty claims directly through support.mrcool.com or (270) 366-0457. Some MRCOOL warranties cover the original purchaser only. Systems that aren't DIY need a valid installation invoice to open a claim.
