The MRCOOL VersaPro 80% AFUE gas furnace is a single-stage, natural gas furnace with hot-surface ignition and a five-speed ECM blower. Inputs run from 40,000 to 120,000 BTU/h, and at 80% AFUE the 80,000 BTU model delivers 64,000 BTU/h of heat into the ducts. It suits homes with an existing B-vent or chimney that need a straightforward furnace replacement.
The cabinet installs upflow, downflow or horizontal, with gas and electric connections on either side, which helps in attics, crawlspaces and tight closets. The 80,000 BTU/h model comes in a 17.5" or a 21" wide cabinet, so it can match the existing duct opening. Add a cased coil and an outdoor unit and it becomes the indoor half of a central cooling system. Installation is by a licensed gas or HVAC contractor.

Installs in Any of Three Positions
One cabinet works upflow, downflow or horizontal, so the same furnace fits a basement, a closet or an attic platform.
Single-Stage 80% AFUE Heat
The burners fire at one rate and convert 80% of the fuel into delivered heat, for example 96,000 BTU/h of output from the 120,000 BTU/h model.
Hot-Surface Ignition
An electronic hot-surface igniter lights the burners on each call for heat, with no standing pilot flame burning gas between cycles.
Five-Speed ECM Blower
The circulating blower uses an ECM motor with 5 speeds, rated 1/2 HP on the 40,000 to 80,000 BTU/h models and 1 HP on the 100,000 and 120,000 BTU/h models.
Ready for Add-On Cooling
MRCOOL's spec sheet lists add-on cooling from 1 to 5 tons depending on the model, using a cased coil set on the supply side of the furnace.
Flexible Service Connections
Gas and electric service can enter from the left or right, and the removable bottom panel allows a side or bottom return.
Approved Install Locations
MRCOOL's manual lists basements, closets, alcoves, utility rooms, attics, garages and crawlspaces as approved spaces, with extra rules for garage and attic installs.

Installation
Professional installation required. Gas appliances must be installed by a licensed HVAC or gas contractor, following MRCOOL's installation manual, the fuel-gas and venting codes that apply where you live, and any permit requirements. MRCOOL's limited warranty applies only to units installed that way, and it does not cover installation labor.
Factory-set for natural gas; propane uses the LP conversion kit, fitted by the gas contractor. The 80% models are Category I fan-assisted furnaces vented through a Type B-1 vent or a lined chimney, and they may share a vent with other gas appliances where the vent sizing allows it. Gas connection is 3/4". Power is 115V. A garage install must hold the burners and igniter at least 18 inches off the floor. Keep a 1" clearance from combustibles to the supply air plenum and follow the clearance label on the furnace.

Shipping, Returns & Warranty
Ships to addresses in the United States only, by freight carrier for the larger cartons. Shipping cost is calculated at checkout, and the carrier may call ahead to book a delivery window.
Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
MRCOOL handles returns through the store you bought from, so your return comes to us. Unopened, unused MRCOOL equipment can be returned within 21 days of delivery with a return authorization from us. You pay the return shipping, and a restocking fee of up to 20% may be deducted along with payment processing fees. Opened, installed or used equipment and special-order items can't be returned.
MRCOOL's VersaPro furnace warranty is 5 years on parts and 20 years on the heat exchanger as standard, with no registration required. Registering the furnace with MRCOOL within 90 days of purchase extends this to 10 years on parts and a lifetime heat exchanger warranty. It does not cover labor. Warranty claims. MRCOOL handles warranty claims directly through support.mrcool.com or (270) 366-0457. Some MRCOOL warranties cover the original purchaser only. Systems that aren't DIY need a valid installation invoice to open a claim.
