Mytee 3601 System Maintainer Extractor Descaler (12-Quart Case)

What it is

The Mytee 3601 System Maintainer is an extractor descaler for keeping carpet extractor solution systems free of hard water and chemical build-up. It comes as a case of 12 one-quart bottles, and it is made from water and citric acid.

How to use it

Mix System Maintainer 1:1 with warm water in a separate container and pour it into the solution tank. Connect a wand or upholstery tool and remove the jets so loosened scale can't clog them, then run the pump into a bucket until you get a solid stream. Let it sit about 5 minutes, run the rest through, and finish with clean water. The Speedster and Speedster LTD manuals call for a weekly flush using 1 quart of System Maintainer with 1 quart of warm water.

Benefits and machines

Regular use cuts corrosion and limescale, improves pump life and keeps heaters running at their maximum temperature. Mytee's manuals for the 1000DX-200, LTD3, 2002CS and HP120 all list it for routine maintenance, and the 2005CS and 2008CS ship with a gallon. For a bigger supply, the 3601G case holds four 1-gallon bottles.

Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.

Unused Mytee equipment in its original packaging can be returned within 21 days of delivery. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. Returns carry Mytee's 25% restocking fee, you pay the return shipping, and payment processing fees are not refunded. Electrical components and refurbished items are final sale, and used machines can't be returned.

Mytee's limited warranty covers manufacturing defects, defects in workmanship and defects in material. Product used up in normal service is not covered.

Warranty claims. Contact us with your order number, model and serial number. We file the claim with Mytee or direct you to the nearest Mytee service center.

System Maintainer comes in two packs: the 3601 case of 12 one-quart bottles and the 3601G case of four 1-gallon bottles. Mytee's 2005CS and 2008CS Contractor's Special packages include one gallon.
