Stingray SS Out Of The Box

Mytee's "Out of the Box" film on the HP90 Stingray, the 5-gallon heated detail extractor with a 1,200 watt REAL HEAT heater, a 120 PSI pump and a stainless steel vacuum shut-off float.

The film shows the standard HP90 kit with the Air Lite tool. The HP90-SS is the same machine supplied with a stainless steel tool, the 8501 15' hose and the Heatguard hose wrap.

HP90-SS Front Quarter View

HP90-SS Front Quarter View

Front right view of the HP90-SS extractor: the three switches on the black top, the solution quick-connect, the molded-in lift handles and the four 3" locking casters.

Pump, vacuum and heater run on one 25' 12/3 cord at 20 A, 115 V. The molded-in lift handles are how the 28" x 16" x 32" body goes into a van or truck.

HP90-SS Push Handle View

HP90-SS Push Handle View

Rear view of the HP90-SS: the push handle across the top, the ribbed black upper body, the power cord leaving the base and the four locking casters.

The high drain valve empties the 5-gallon recovery tank straight into a bucket, and the stainless steel float switch turns the vacuum off before the tank can overfill.

Got Questions?

Find answers below or contact our support team.

How hot does the water get?

The 1,200 watt in-line heater brings water up to 210°F.

Does it shut off when the recovery tank is full?

Yes. A stainless steel float switch turns the vacuum off when the recovery tank fills, to protect the vacuum motor.

What power does it need?

One standard outlet. It runs on a single 25' 12/3 cord and draws 20 A at 115 V.

Is it suited to mobile detailing?

Yes. Mytee sizes its 5-gallon tanks for mobile detailers, and it has molded-in lift handles and four locking casters.

Can it clean carpet?

For small rooms, yes, with the optional 10" 8390-EZ carpet wand.

What warranty does it have?

1 year parts and labor, 2 years on major components such as the pump, vacuum motor and heater, and 10 years on roto-molded housings and tanks.
