The Nantucket Sinks 15" Single Bowl Dual-Mount Granite Composite Bar Sink comes in 3 versions: Black, White or Titanium Grey color. Pick your options above to open the exact model, with its own price and details. The details below are for the Black version.
The Nantucket Sinks PR1815-BL is a 15" x 18" single bowl dual-mount granite composite bar and prep sink in black with metallic flecks, crafted in Europe for the Rockport Collection. It fits a 24" base cabinet, which makes it a fit for a wet bar, a coffee station or an island prep sink, and it can be top mounted or undermounted to suit the countertop.
The 12.5" x 15.75" bowl is 7" deep, enough to rinse produce, fill a pitcher or wash glasses at the bar without splashing. The drain sits at the rear, so it stays clear of what is in the bowl, and Nantucket notes the placement gives you more under-counter space for storage in what is usually a small cabinet. It takes a standard 3.5" drain, so a full-size basket strainer fits.
Rockport sinks are made in Europe from a granite composite of 80% natural stone. Nantucket rates the material resistant to stains and scratches able to withstand thermal shock and heat resistant to 560°F, and the stone is naturally sound absorbing, so the sink stays quieter under running water. Its care guide still asks for a trivet under any pan hotter than 500°F, because a pan straight off a burner can exceed 1000°F.
Overall the sink is 15" x 18" x 7.65" and weighs 15 lbs, and undermount clips are included. Nantucket designed it to coordinate with the Rockport PR-APS granite farmhouse sinks, so a kitchen with an apron sink can add a matching prep or bar sink in the same stone and color.
Installing the PR1815
The undermount clips are included, and the PR1815 can be undermounted or top mounted. Undermounted, the clips are spaced evenly and the counter is cut flush or with a 1/8" to 1/4" overhang; dropped in, the cutout gets a continuous bead of plumbing silicone, which is not included. Tighten the drain by hand so it does not crack the sink: Nantucket lists a color-matched 3.5KD-GC basket strainer and 3.5DF-GC disposal drain for each color, plus the NS35LCC flip-top crumb cup drain. There are no faucet holes, so the faucet mounts on the countertop or the wall.
The Rockport Collection takes its name from a charming seaside village with a rugged coastline that inspired many painters, and Nantucket says the granite composite sinks are inspired by both beauty and durability. They are crafted in Europe with natural stone and come in several colors and configurations: the reversible PR3020-APS and PR3320-APS apron workstations, the PR2219PS and PR3019PS ledge workstations, and the PR1815 bar sink and PR2522-DM laundry sink, which are designed to coordinate with the apron models.
Caring for Granite Composite
Day to day, the PR1815 sink asks for little: clean it after use with warm water, a liquid detergent and a soft cloth, and wipe tea, coffee and juice up promptly so they do not set. Nantucket's care guide asks you not to cut directly on the surface, to skip harsh abrasives and metal pads, and to keep alcohol, gasoline, acids and solvents away from the stone. In hard water areas, lime build-up comes off by covering the bottom of the bowl with vinegar and water for several hours, then scrubbing with the stiff side of a sponge and rinsing.
The PR1815-BL is the Nantucket Sinks 15" granite composite bar sink in black for a wet bar, coffee station or island, in a color designed to coordinate with the Rockport apron sinks.
Features
Black With Metallic Flecks
The PR1815-BL is cast in black with metallic flecks spread through the matte stone, so the dark color has depth and sparkle up close rather than a flat, painted look.
Color-Matched Black Drain Option
Nantucket offers the 3.5KD-GCMB basket strainer and the 3.5DF-GCMB disposal drain in matte black to match this sink, so the drain blends into the stone instead of showing a bright metal ring.
Matching Black Rockport Pieces
Black is also offered in the 22" PR2219PS-BL workstation, the 30" PR3019PS-BL workstation, the PR2522-DM-BL laundry sink and the 30" PR3020-APS-BL apron sink, so a kitchen, bar and laundry room can share one stone and one color.
Bar and Prep Sized
A 12.5" x 15.75" bowl in a 15" x 18" sink fits a 24" base cabinet, bringing a real working basin to a wet bar, coffee station or kitchen island.
Dual-Mount Installation
The sink can be undermounted beneath a stone counter or top mounted, following Nantucket's dual-mount installation guide for either method.
Rear Drain, Full-Size Opening
The 3.5" standard drain sits at the rear of the bowl, which keeps it clear of glasses and produce and leaves more room in the small cabinet below.
80% Natural Stone Composite
Made in Europe from 80% natural stone, the composite resists stains and scratches from daily use, so the matte finish holds its look with simple care.
Heat and Thermal Shock Rated
Nantucket says the stone can withstand thermal shocks and temperatures up to 560°F. Its care guide still asks for a trivet under any pan hotter than 500°F and advises avoiding very hot and very cold together.

Installation & Care
Installation
This is a dual-mount sink, so it can go in as an undermount below a solid countertop or drop in from above. Undermount clips are included. Nantucket's installation guide calls for professional installation. As an undermount, the clips are spaced evenly around the sink and the counter is cut flush or with an overhang of 1/8" to 1/4" (1/4" is recommended to hide the silicone). As a drop-in, the countertop opening is traced from the sink and cut inside the rim line, a continuous bead of plumbing silicone goes around the cutout and the clips are tightened until the rim seats; sealant is not included either way. It needs a 24" minimum base cabinet. There are no faucet holes, so the faucet mounts on the countertop. The 3.5" rear drain opening takes a standard 3.5" drain, sold separately; tighten the drain by hand, since overtightening can crack the sink.
Care
Clean the sink after each use with warm water, a liquid detergent and a soft cloth, and wipe up tea, coffee and juice promptly. Nantucket's care guide says not to set anything hotter than 500°F on the sink (a pan straight off a burner can exceed 1000°F), so use a trivet or potholder, and avoid thermal shock from very hot and very cold together. Do not cut on the surface, and keep harsh abrasives, metal pads, alcohol, gasoline, acids and solvents off it. For lime build-up, cover the bottom with vinegar and water for several hours, then scrub with the stiff side of a sponge and rinse.
