The Nantucket Sinks PR3419-NBL-UM is a 33.75" undermount granite composite workstation sink in a solid nano matte black, from the Italian-made Plymouth Collection. A ledge inside the 31" x 15.25" basin carries the included HPL cutting board and black colander, and a black stainless steel and silicone roll-up mat spans the counter over the sink, so the whole prep routine happens in one place.
Chop on the board, rinse in the colander, and let scraps drop into the bowl. The roll-up mat is designed to reach from countertop to countertop across the sink opening rather than sit on the ledge, so it works as a drying rack for washed dishes and produce, and the soft silicone edges cushion and grip. Nantucket notes the cutting board color can range from dark grey to black because of the nature of the material.
Like every Plymouth sink, it is designed and made in Italy from a granite composite of 80% natural stone and 20% acrylic polymers. Nantucket rates the material resistant to stains and scratches able to withstand thermal shock and heat resistant to 560°F, and the stone is naturally sound absorbing, which keeps the clatter of dishes and running water down. Its care guide still asks for a trivet under any pan hotter than 500°F, since a pan straight off a burner can exceed 1000°F.
The bowl is 8.25" deep with the 3.5" drain at the rear, which keeps the cabinet below more open. Overall the sink is 33.75" x 18.25" x 8.75", weighs 39 lbs and needs a 36" minimum base cabinet. It has no faucet holes, so the faucet mounts on the countertop behind the ledge. A fitted BG-PR3419 stainless bottom grid and color-matched drain parts are offered separately.
Installing the PR3419-UM
Nantucket's undermount guide asks the fabricator to follow it and local building and plumbing codes, to space the clips evenly around the sink, loosely tighten, adjust and then tighten them, and to cut the counter flush or with a 1/8" to 1/4" overhang; a 1/4" overhang is recommended because it hides the silicone, which is not included. The sheet does not list mounting clips among the included items, so confirm them with your installer, and the drain should be tightened by hand so it does not crack the sink. Nantucket lists the 3.5KD-GCMB matte black basket strainer and the 3.5EDF-MBL matte black extended flange, which suit the black accessories.

Caring for Granite Composite
Day to day, the PR3419-UM sink asks for little: clean it after use with warm water, a liquid detergent and a soft cloth, and wipe tea, coffee and juice up promptly so they do not set. Nantucket's care guide asks you not to cut directly on the surface, to skip harsh abrasives and metal pads, and to keep alcohol, gasoline, acids and solvents away from the stone. In hard water areas, lime build-up comes off by covering the bottom of the bowl with vinegar and water for several hours, then scrubbing with the stiff side of a sponge and rinsing.

Installation & Care
Installation
This is an undermount sink that mounts beneath the countertop. It is held with mounting clips spaced evenly around the sink, set loosely, adjusted, then tightened. Nantucket's installation guide calls for professional installation, and its undermount guide asks the installer to follow local building and plumbing codes. The counter can be cut flush with the bowl or with a 1/8" to 1/4" overhang; a 1/4" overhang is recommended because it hides the silicone, which is not included. It needs a 36" minimum base cabinet. There are no faucet holes, so the faucet mounts on the countertop. The 3.5" rear drain opening takes a standard 3.5" drain, sold separately; tighten the drain by hand, since overtightening can crack the sink. The Undermount installation guide is in Resources.

Nantucket's care guide says not to set anything hotter than 500°F on the sink (a pan straight off a burner can exceed 1000°F), so use a trivet or potholder, and avoid thermal shock from very hot and very cold together. Do not cut on the surface, and keep harsh abrasives, metal pads, alcohol, gasoline, acids and solvents off it. For lime build-up, cover the bottom with vinegar and water for several hours, then scrub with the stiff side of a sponge and rinse. Hand wash the cutting board, colander and roll-up mat with mild soap and dry them before storing.

Nantucket Sinks ships this item by UPS or FedEx from North Kingstown, Rhode Island, usually within 1 to 2 business days of your order. Shipping is free within the lower 48 states on orders of $101 or more (orders under $101 ship for a flat $15); for Alaska or Hawaii, contact us before you order. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it ships.
Inspect the packaging and the product before you sign. Note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, then email photos to support@mycleansupplies.com within 48 hours of delivery so the freight claim can be filed. Damage reported after 48 hours can't be claimed.
Unused Nantucket Sinks products in their original packaging can be returned within 21 days of delivery. Ask us for a return authorization before you ship. Returns carry Nantucket Sinks' 25% restocking fee, you pay the return shipping, and the return travels at your risk, so pack it as it arrived. Payment processing fees are not refunded. Installed, used or damaged products, and discontinued models, can't be returned.
Nantucket Sinks backs its granite composite sinks with a 5-year limited warranty: it replaces, at its option, any sink found to have a material defect, and replacement sinks are offered at 50% of the original purchase price. Thermal shock, neglect, mistreatment and cracks from an over-tightened drain are not covered. The warranty covers residential installations for the original purchaser; installation, labor and transportation costs, and damage from installation, improper cleaning, misuse or neglect, are not covered.
